Yea, I put co-op and coop in the subject for people like me who have been searching for forums for answers. Anyway, I needed some help with an agent mission the other day so my friend joined a fleet with me to take it on. When I went back to the agent, there was another option to say my FLEET has completed the mission instead of just me. Cool! So now I have some questions on how this works. Does my friend get agent standing or loyalty points when we do this or just get a split of the isk?
Also while on the subject of a fleet. I played eve before years ago and remember there being a "join gang" option. Did fleet completely replace gang? Fleets are cool, but confusing when only two people are going at it. In fleets with two people, are the bounty rewards for rats split evenly? I think that's how gangs used to work.
Ok, sorry for the double questions. Thanks for any help!

1. Obviously when both of you are in a fleet, the NPC bounties of whatever you kill get shared between the two of you. When you report the mission as completed by "the fleet", the payout and bonus get divided between the two of you. Faction Standings also get divided. You can use this if you're doing L4's to quickly raise the standings of an alt or friend who may not have access to high level agents.
2. Fleets replaced gangs. Yes, bounties are split evenly. The difference between fleets and gangs is if you have some of the Leadership skills you can put yourself in the various Commander positions and do two things: create more wings/squads (huge fleets are possible), and buff everyone in the fleet with those bonus skills. You can also talk via voice chat through the fleet interface, send out broadcasts that make it easier for all pilots to see what the target is or where to set autopilot to, and see where everyone is on the F10 (system view) map.

Personal and corporation standings get divided; faction standings (from storyline missions) do not.
Not sure if this is just a brain cramp on your part, or you actually thought that they did. If so, you have been misinformed. :) ________________________________________________

Are you implying that the faction standings go to only the person whose storyline mission it is, or that both parties get full faction standings?

Not sure what he was implying, but fact of the matter is, yeah, from storylime missions, only the person accepting them gains standing. All other rewards are still shared, though. Ofcourse, should the main reward be a single item, like an implant, that goes to the person who accepted the mission as well. Up to the fleet to get him to sell it and share the wealth..

Yes.
One point of note is that the base rewards are determined by the person who's mission it is, so if you're helping each other out for the ISK and LPs, then the person with the best social skills (Connections, Negotiation, special connection skills) should be doing all the talking to the agent.

The former, though I didn't make it very clear.
Fleet members cannot gain faction standing by helping you do a storyline mission. Corp standing, personal standing with the agent, yes they can, by leeching away some of yours. ________________________________________________

Ok, cool. Thanks everyone. That will work. Main thing I will be doing is running missions with a friend that just started the game so we aren't playing by ourselves all the time.
