so been running a lot of caldari and i got state pritty high but my base standing with galente is now like -7.0 looking for suggestions of raiseing that without loseing standings on caldari state if its possible. |

Have you trained the social skill Diplomacy?
That boosts your hostile standings to a more manageable level. |

As CydonianKnight stated above, train up the skill Diplomacy. That's the only way to raise your -7.00 negative standing at this time without lowering your positive standings.
After training Diplomacy up, if you have all negative Empire Factions above -5.00 standing, you can then safely enter all Empire Factions space without being attacked by Faction Navy NPC's. The next option to raise the negative Faction standing even higher without affecting the other Faction standings is to complete the level 1 SoE Epic Arc.

As the others have stated, Diplomacy.
Then do the Sisters of Eve arc (Blood-Stained Stars) and choose the Gallente agent at the end.
At this point, you should be above -5. After this, just don't do storylines/faction missions.
Then do the SoE arc again in ~3months time and repair Gallente again. |

No.
You do not lose standings for declining a mission. You will lose standing if you accept and don't complete.
I never accept player faction kill missions, even if they are storylines, but will do all the other missions and storylines. Notice that SoE is my highest standing, as I do storylines for them to keep the Gallente and Minmatar from shooting me, as I mostly do Amarr and Caldari missions. |

What I do is find a system that has Caldari and Gallente L3/4 missions. Run those missions untill you get a storyline missions. Then I run the storyline and check how much decrease I get. I then run the other storyline mission and then after completion check again.
As in the Faction Repair Plan you will bounce back and forth between Caldari and Gallente.
And as stated above do the SOE and pick Gallente, that will boost it up a lot.
Look for the Gallente Epic Arc starting agent and try to get that standing up to do the gallente Epic arc. It will require alot of L1 missions in the beginning.

Found out accepting kill missions against the Ammar was a bad plan, especially when you mission in Ammar space. So train up the appropriate skill to boost up your standing. |
