Now i know that it has been disabled(with a 3 day mercy frist appearently)
Situation is as follows:
I cancelled one of my accounts before it was disabled and set several days before the account run out a long skill. while it was training they decided to disable ghost training.
When I reactivated that account i saw that every progress in that skill had been reset to 0. Even the amount it had still trained while it was training when the account was active.
My Question is now is that normal? Do I have to be careful to manually disable skill training before an account runs out so i dont loose my skillpoints in the last actively training skill?

That is screwed up.
Having training stop when account expires?
Yeah, I can understand that.
Deleting training that occured BEFORE account expired because you did not bother to log in during the last week or two?
That is screwed up.

wait i had an alt with 15ish days left on fleet command 5.... i hope this also did not happen to me or thats like 2 months of training lost

So ghost nerf doesn't pause skills when the account goes down, it resets them?

It's not normal. I had ghost training accounts when they nerfed it. I reactivated some of them 4 days after the nerf, and the rest 5 days after the nerf. All of them were trained up until 3 days past the nerf day, then they simply stopped training.

Sounds to me like the issue might be related to deactivation then.
Deactivate from a CC, not a problem.
Deactivate from a GTC, problem.
Just fishing for ideas here.. |

Except my accounts were all from GTCs (except one that was just out of trial and ghost training before it's first ever activation).

Ofc there is also the possibility that my mind is playing tricks on me and I simply forgot to activate the skill( can happen with several accounts). But I had put quite some thought into which skill I would train and I do seem to remeber that I activated it, so that is for me atm a more remote explanation.
Not too bothered about the loss of trained time even if mildy annoying, but more concerned if i have to pay more attention to skills to end them manually in future before an account expires.
From the current comments I can guess that it is atleast not normal.

If you synced SkillMon during the early days of training or had the account/character registered in a site like ineve.net you would have known if the skill had started training. But I guess if you now reactivated it's too late (they would have resinced already).
