Don't forget that T3's wont make T1 and T2's obsolete. Why? Because not everyone can fly those frigging things instantly. I have no idea what the skill requirements are for those ships. I would guess a whole heap of V skills, when you think about it.

This is excactly whats happening. Their superior not excactly in terms of performance, but flexibility and customization.
It will be awesome if they produce a t3 ship that gives bonus's to whatever it fits, but only to the first mod type fitted. e.g. u fit a hardner first; the bonus benefits hardners. All extra hardners after that get the same bonus, however fitting a point wont give you a bonus to a point aswell.
Of course this wld be in some way limited ie to all modules requiring missile launcher operation or small hybrid turret (every railgun requires small hybrid turret) for caldari in highs. Mids = shield operation and/or signal dispersion and/or targeting etc. Lows = same as mids + highs or something. EVE history

It seems that you think that everyone will fly t3 ships and nothing else. But I read that you have to travel trough unstable wormholes where you can find some part needed to produce one of that 5 parts of t3 ship. So I guess it will be f****** expensive to build t3 ship. And for that money I would expect something better than t2. If that's true, I think that most of pvpers will remain in t2 ships expect that very rich ones.

every skill you need to fly any t2 ship and then assault ships of 5 for the t3 frig, HAC of 5 for t3 cruiser, command ships of 5 for t3 BC,and marauders 5 for a t3. Mabe advanced space ship command of 5. ( I'm pulling these skills out of my @SS by the way ) Then like 6 new skills that have to do with the components. Just an educated guess.

So now you've delayed the game-breaking ships by a while. The end result is exactly the same, except now you have a ton of complaints that nobody can actually use the new features.

And now we're right back to the biggest problem with nano ships: the huge gap between rich and poor. We do NOT need to go back to a system where rich people get god mode, while everyone else just gets to die horribly. ----------- Blaster sig removed for now, pending those "changes we've been working on all day". CCP, don't screw this up.

We have no info on t3 ships except that you will be able to make a personal ship ,it's realy awesome,now it's application could be troublesome.
But before you scream OP,who knows what costs a custom ship will have,how long it will take to build and more important what skills you would need,they could require 6 months of training (new skills introduced just for it),could require 0.0 plexing etc.
Alot of stuff could affect it,for now let's just be happy that this awesome feature to make custom ships is in development,... cant wait to make by large AC frigate!

Considering the nature of those ships I would bet that you need some science skills to use them (aka. operate the customizing...)

just imagine a t3 level dread would probably pop most titan's quite easy. or will there be a t2 titan?

I will go out on a limb here and say that even if T3 is amazingly overpowered....it's going to be expensive as hell...money is the great equalizer.
