For the last couple nights I've been doing level 2 agent kill missions and not getting the some of the bounty rewards for some of the npcs I kill.
For instance I had a kill mission for 6 separate groups of npcs. Each group had at least 5 npcs. When I looked in assetts at the bounty rewards I saw that some of the npcs I killed but not all were listed. After killing all the npcs in all 6 groups I looked in assetts again and counted the npcs listed. I counted 24. That would be about 4 npcs per group. I know there were at least 5 npcs in each group. In one or two groups there were 7 npcs. I estimate there were about 32 to 34 npcs total but I got rewarded for 24. The bounties for these npcs ranged from 4500 isk to 12K isk. 8 to 10 more npcs rewards adds up.
I've noticed this in other kill missions too. Has anyone else noticed this?

I have found that when hunting npc rats I don't always get the bounty for every kill I make. I will have to check more closely in the future and start a list of the ones that are not paying out.

Yep - I've noticed this as well. I thought at one point it was because I was using smartbombs against NPC frigs and cruisers, and was only getting paid for NPC's that I had targetted before killing them. However, I get it using turrets as well.

When I'm flying through I sometimes target and destroy Arrogators and Imputors, but lately havn't been getting the bounties.

In any region I go to the rats with the lowest bounties in a group are the ones affected.
One group I fought had 1 50K and 4 10K rats and I got the 50K and 2 of the 4 10K bounties. Another group had 1 50K and 4 8K rats and I only got the bounty for the 50K rat.
In both these groups I killed all the rats.
Sometimes I'll get the bounties for all the rats I killed other times I won't. When I do or don't seems to be completely random.

I don't get bounties when I kill those 2k gate rats in empire with a heavy missle.
Eve just seems to ignore that fact that I blew em up.

This issue doesn't only affect missions, it's any region I go to.
I started this thread while doing missions but didn't realize it was in other regions as well. If I could I would change the title to 'Not getting bounties for some npc kills' since it's not limited to only missions but Eve-wide.
