Why does it seem like DT is plenty short, but the 10 minutes for a server startup seems to take FOREVER? Has anyone else experienced this feeling?

Because on unplanned outages, the 10 minute startup is followed by another crash and another 10 minute startup compounding until it has been an hour or two since the server was up.
Unfortunately, it causes all the aggro cry babies to jump into the forums and post 800 ranting *****ing threads (not yours - just saying in general).
Yes, stuff is down. Yes, they're working on it. Yeah, it sort of sucks. Go take a leak and have lunch and come back.

Well, its like when you are busting for a pee and the toilet is being used by a pretty lady to powder her nose, straighten her tights and all the other stuffs that girlies do in the loo.
The 10 minutes that she takes to do this seems like an age. But when you are watching football on the telly at the weekend the hours she leaves you alone while she has a bath just flies by.
