Susana Degrecia	Posted - 2008.11.12 04:10:00 - [1] I'm stuck at the Entering Character selection (entering game as...) screen. I've reset settings windows and colors. The interesting thing is that this happens with only 2 of my accounts while with the other 2 i can go past the screen and use the characters as normal I've filed a petition already but any1 or technical support could throw any ideas?

And then it was almost like I had lost connection so I attempted to dock and was going to log, but had nothing for stations or anything on the right click. So I logged while in the belt. And now when I try to log back in, i get stuck at the "entering game as..." screen. Haven't done a petition yet, was wondering if anyone else had this problem.

Aldi Wibra	Posted - 2008.11.12 07:13:00 - [5] My main toon is also stuck at "Entering game as..." with a black background. Before the patch I logged out in space with this character. Both other toons were docked and log in just fine.

Steps I took after applying the QR patch: 1. undocked 2. grouped weapons 3. tried to redock, got the 'docking request accepted' message, however even after 2 or 3 mins I still wasn't docked. 4. logged out, logged back in 5. selected character and got the same problem as everyone else here.

Giles Jasper	Posted - 2008.11.12 07:31:00 - [9] Me too, I either get stuck at Authenticating, Entering Game, or Entering Station. Black screen behind, I can hear the music and the station background noise. I've only managed to get into the game once, and then after 2 minutes when I tried to access my character info etc, in any of the windows, it was blank. Then the game came up with an error "Disconnected - Socket Error". Is CCP aware of this?

Digaph Gallente Concrete Developments	Posted - 2008.11.12 08:01:00 - [12] Same as anyone else. I was able to play the game well after applying the patch. Been fiddling with the certificates and grouped my weapons, even done a mission and finished, it all worked fine. Just took another mission ( courier ). On my way over to the delivery station I had to pass through Bereye and that's where the problem started for me. I jumped into that system and the system loaded, only my overview didn't show any objects, my ship wasn't painted and non of the visual content other then the systems background were visible. I waited for 10 - 15 minutes thinking it to be lag, but nothing happened, so I logged off and tried to log on again. Ever since I'm stuck at "Entering game as ...". Hope this gets fixed soon as I find the black screen a bit boring, perhaps some more variations on the color would help in the mean time :P Cheers, Digaph "I'm not a complete idiot... ...some parts are missing"

I'm launching the second account on the second installation with "/end /LUA:OFF" parameters but it does the same when trying to enter the game from the installation of my first account.

Before I was logged in, flew from Bereye to the Halle Gate... jumped in.. and ... nothing No session change, and I was still able to chat with the corp. I logged out, and tried to log back in... Played for an hour or two, then the UI quit updating. Relogged, and was unable to get past character selection. Sure hope my BS didn't go pop while I was stuck in game (if the isk count on the character selection screen is accurate, I hadn't been paid any insurance yet, so that is encouraging).
