We're looking to expand our membership with like minded individuals of any skill level. We're a fairly small, tight knit corp that's been in operation with the same four core player members for just over a year now.
What we're looking for:
- Character. You don't need to be a character to get along with our members, but it certainly helps. Personality, friendliness, cooperation, and an open, inquisitive mind, are all major plusses, as we tend to be a rather odd lot of people with common interests and different backgrounds.
- Independance. Ability to acquire own wealth, materials, equipment when other corp members aren't able to offer such things for free or at cost.
- 0.0 Willing. Willingness to brave 0.0 space. Our corporation has been a long-time member of 0.0 and although we're currently located in low-sec, we want to return to 0.0 space in the very near future.
- PvP Willing. We're primarily a non-PvP corporation, but all members have to acquire at least some level of capability with warships, and work toward increased surviveability in combat. No one in Band of Builders needs to be an industrialist, but they all have to be willing to at least risk a frigate in defense of our interests when they're threatened. We do not seek out conflict, as its rarely good for business, but if one lesson is learned in living in the Eve Cluster., is that conflict will find you. Also, when operating in Querious, if our alliance needs us and lets us know, we are obligated to scramble all our members in the area, to help defend it.
What we offer:
- Allegiance. Friendship's worth something, though it will need to be won. There's no guarantees, but if you've made it into the corp, chances are we all think fairly well of you already. While we're not guaranteed to replace every Thorax you get smoked in a remote low-sec belt free of charge, we'll back you up, help out whenever we can, gang with you if you need help on a difficult mission or hunting a 0.0 spawn with anything from frigates to battleships. If you're a forum warrior sort, well, you can usually get me and a few others to support you if you need extra weight behind your posts, but only if we have anything really to add to such. We generally don't make a lot of forum announcements, ask few questions, and try to comment from the [i]'bystander with an interest'[i] POV. We try to stay out of the worst flamewars, as it can attract unwanted and unwarranted, attention to our corp members, which we try to protect politically as well as physically.
- Training. We share our knowledge base, practical and technical, everything from skill books, hunting, PvP basics, manufacture (Tech I and II), organize skill priorities, make money, run agents, avoid gank squads, make contacts, etc. Advanced spacers may already know all of this stuff, but we're looking for new pod pilots as well.
- Blueprint Library. Make your own ammo, guns, modules, indies, frigates, destroyers, light cruisers, even battleships from our blueprint library. I personally try to fill in the blanks periodically so corp members can operate remotely from our core stations for weeks at a time without being inconvenienced by frontier or fringe empire prices.
- No Pressure. Other than making a name for ourselves through our products and commitment to alliances, we're fairly low key. Occasionally there's projects we'll try to rope the other members into, but there's no actual obligation. Wanting to help is a plus, but if you've got something else occupying your time, there's no worries.

But hey, I'll bite. If you check some info in game (or out, I'm sure you can track it down) you will see the following:

Band of Brothers - Created 2005.07.07
You will note from the above that we actually pre-date Band of Brothers by almost 2 years. So I doubt we copied their name. Maybe they copied ours? Maybe not. Either way, who is still going strong, and who is just a distant memory in the CAOD Hall of Shame?
