Edited by: Schani Kratnorr on 12/11/2008 11:46:11 Never ever download the client from anywhere else.
The official download can be found here - http://www.eve-online.com/download/
If the file you downloaded was somehow corrupted, you may want to consider the advice given on the page:
Quote: NOTE: If you are having trouble downloading please consider using a Download Manager
It is likely that something went wrong when you downloaded the installation file. Try downloading and installing again.
Hope this helps.

is that section of the eve-o forums down for anyone else? [orange]Signature graphics that may only contain your character name, corporation logo, corporation or personal slogan or other text that is directly related to your in-game persona, or content direct |

Did you try using a download manager?
Exactly what is the error message?
Did you try using a different browser to download the installer? (not that that should nessisarily mean anything, but who know.s)

It *IS* possible, that the source file (the one on eve-online.com) is corrupted. I have not yet downloaded the file myself, so I cannot rule that out as possiblity. (Doubt it though.)

Hi, I am getting the same error, and I have downloaed it 5 times. Using a download manager, using the torrent, and three times, clicking the link. Id sure like to know what others are doing to get this to work. So far nothing has worked, and I havnt gotten a responce from ANYONE, not even EVE themselves.

Classic patch mirror
Premium patch mirror
Empyrean age client classic
Empyrean age client premium
Obviously i should say that blahblah not endorsed by CCP or something lol. But i did test them slightly.
