I am having a similar problem as you all. I can download patches etc all fine.. no issues.. but I get the following error with the logserver when I load eve and wait for status:
Closing connection to 87.237.38.200:26000: {'reasonCode': None, 'reason': u'The socket was closed', 'exception': error(10053, 'Software caused connection abort', 'IOCompletionWsaGetOverlappedResult failed with error 10053
I ran ping plotter and the jumps latency are fine. I tested the server ports and that is fine too...This connection problem occurs except for one hour of the day. Now I tried to see if I get this with any other MMO and I dont experience any connection problems with those others (like WoW, War, etc).. If anyone has any suggestions I will be very greatful.

I just tried running ping plotter and eve at same time.. Still cant connect.. My problem is that I cant even connect at all (meaning unknown status) except for one hour in the day (1am my time).
And I took note that the ping plotter results during the time it works is almost identical to when it does not work

but your able to connect for a little bit? Because mine is very strange where I get nothing at all all day as if the server is unreachable. And I can try as many times as possible and it wont connect. But during that one hour, it works perfect.
