That's why I don't post in CAOD.
It isn't a CAOD post. There are crying nano users in EVERY alliance, even mine. So this isn't directed at any single alliance, and I have ZERO interest in starting a CAOD-related fight on this forum.

Whew! Thought I was the only one that liked this update... Might add the fact that ships intended to be fast, eg. inties, speed bonus ships like Vagabonds, still have a speed advantage as inteded, but now its harder for these ships that peeps nanoed out to keep up with the ships designed to be fast. And the missile nerf makes sense to me. Kinda silly you could speed tank turrets, but a missile boat could always hit you unless it was jammed,or you were nanoes to crap which was nerfed anyway For the whiners, and the "I quitters!!"  , Tissues are in the mail from me.

Some of the initial whines about nano***s were when they were using their highspeed crows and vagas to find mission entry gates and fly the few minutes to the actual complex, instead of bothering to scan them out. Carebears DID whine. PVPers DID whine. A lot of people whined. Instead of blaming nano people for your missile nerf, focus your energy on actually changing your gameplay style. Think of it as every 6 months CCP makes new challenges to be passed every so often. that's the job nerfing does.

Umm... You DID read the part about the fact that I'm a Gallente Railgun/Drone/Blaster user, right? I mean, I have SOME missile skills, so I can use an SB, but I'm hardly missile specced.
And Carebears were NEVER the primary complainers. Don't even waste your breath setting up a very rarely used mechanic as some kind of strawman. Carebears did NOT complain about nano users in ANY WAY compared to the legitimate complaints from fellow PVPers of the NON nano stripe.
The fact that you A) didn't properly read my post and B) try to set up a strawman to deflect legitimate criticism tells me that you, perchance, might be a nanophag.

Crude but true. PVPers who didn't have buttloads of money for implants etc were generally the ones complaining. There were enough of the rich players to make life miserable and unbalanced for the rest of the community. PVP isn't really any fun when the other team has a magic "win" button with ludicrous speed.
The nano-guys have always rebutted with "adapt or die" and the OP is right.. its time for them to show us what they can do. Whats your adaptation? (Complaining in the forums is not a form of adaptation btw :) ).

I feel for you guys. I really do. I don't really use Missiles that much (just Heavies on my Lachesis and Cruise on my SB, but I never use the SB anyway.) So I really have no idea what is going on with those. But couldn't you just use the Rokh with railguns instead? Rails and Lasers got a much needed boost with these changes. Why not just use the Caldari weapon that works to the advantage?
Heh, maybe the rokh stinks. I dunno, I don't fly Caldari BSes. But I DO see quite a few Rokhs in use in Fleet operations, particularly as Sniper platforms. So they can't be THAT bad.
If worse comes to worse, Just crosstrain Amarr stuff. Many of the base skills you already have will count towards Amarr ships and equipment, so the train time won't be THAT long.
My personal goal is to eventually be Skill lvl 5 in every sub-cap ship in EVE, including all attendant weapons systems. I LIKE flexibility, and intend to get it. How about you?

Well I started as Caldari many many moons ago.. but then liked the pretty lights of lasers when everyone was shouting "BUFF AMARR!".. and even though they were "weaker" I trained them like mad... so I guess i'll be dropping missiles for lasers on a day to day basis moving forward.
Whats sort of funny is now people will be shouting "NERF AMARR!".. how things change in just a few months :)
