I think we all need in game TV windows showing constant re-runs of Red Dwarf (up to season and including series six.....)

Ah, an excellent suggestion, sir, with just two minor drawbacks...

you are going to pay for the license for a full 6 season box set for 250,000 people, are you?
protip: if we assume each season is $34.97AU (ezyDVD's price) thats $52,455,000AU. approximately.
licences will be less because there is no actual DVD involved, but as you can - PvPers always say "GB2WoW". the message is that EVE is hard, and people just need to deal with it. wasn't it funny how when nano's started making it hard for *them*, that all went out the window? |

Screw that, I wanna see Bayblon 5
I have a better suggestion. When ambulation comes out we can have TVs i our ships/offices/whatever that play videos from our library.
EvE can double as a video player.
Also if you did that then my pod's sound synthesis device can be set to pull good music from my library instead of that noise that bellows from the jutebox -So says Xindi Kraid

Well, that's put a crimp on an otherwise damn fine plan.

As soon as the question about the codec is solved. EVE could utilize the windows media center. That would make three things obsolete: You wouldn't have to think about licenses, you wouldn't need to think about more than compatibility with this program, and you could even use a stream over Windows Media Center to broadcast your Live Dev Blog! Heck, you could even add video to the Live Dev Blog! Okay, downside is that those won't run properly on Mac and Linux at first. But I'm quite sure that the Linux community is able to figure out how to make a Windows Media Center interface for Linux. As for Mac... I'm sorry, but I don't think that Uncle Steve will allow that. I have the impression about him that he's just not willing to make Mac users happy... --- "Multiple exclamation marks are a sure sign for a diseased mind." -Terry Pratchett |

Ok, I know its not feasable in any shape or form...you never know they might come to EVE and get some in game sponsorship to boost DVD sales :D
"Do you think it's because the sub-space conduits have locked with the transponder calibrations and caused a major tachyon surge that has overloaded the time matrix?"
"Ah, no, sir. I've just been jabbing it too hard."
Why are there no tachyon surges in EVE?
