My character has no anchoring skills and uses secure cans to mine with in 1.0 space. Today after the patch, I deployed four cans for mining and filled them up. They are password proteccted. When I went to pick them up in my indy, they are anchored and are not scooping. Since I do not have the skill for anchoring, I can not scoop them. Nor do I trust them to be there in 2 or so hours when they will pop.

This is off-topic, but you do know that anyone who wants can come along and scoop unanchored secure cans, reguardless of their passwording, right?

This is off-topic, but you do know that anyone who wants can come along and scoop unanchored secure cans, reguardless of their passwording, right?

No one is going to be taking them. They are anchored.. not supposed to be anchored but they are. Happened to another person also. He got his secure cans back after buying Anchor, skilling in it.. then back to 1.0 space and picked them up.
So.. bug came in with patch.

Yeah, It's true... the cans anchor when you set the password when they are deployed. I had a string of them acrossed a belt. I was half tempted to leave them there; it was a good deplyment acrossed good fields.
Sort of an accidental roll back if you think about it.
