Siang	Posted - 2008.11.13 09:10:00 - [1] The following happens with the new patch; When a ship (NPC) has been targeted the Selected Items windows (right top of your screen) is fine up until you click on the target picture that appears once the ship has been targetted. Doing this, all options in the Select Items window double i.e. - double targeting - double approuch etc.. To clarify, below a picture to show which window I mean: Anyone else has this issue? I can reproduce it 100%. I opened a bug report for this. Quote: I tried pressing the pause button earlier because my dinner was ready. When I came back I was in my pod.

Well, even if that's the case, it still remains a bug. What you're suggesting is a workaround. I'm at work so I can't test what you're saying but I will try when I get home. As the icons in the Selected Item box are ok when selecting something in the overview, it should be ok when I click on the target picture. Also, this bug I have since the new patch. Actually, yes i have had the problem as well, normally only appears in the heat of battle when it's getting a little laggy.

The action/option button boxes in the slected item overview would duplicate over and over. This would happen to me usually if I was trying to target ships/pos in space rather than targetting from overview panel. I think I had the POS i was targetting replicate its action boxes up to 5 times in the window. _______________________

Right now I'm not flying any missions or entering deadspace because Eve client keeps saying 'socket closed' and falling over. Try harder please.

It usually pops up most once you have a target locked, then highlight something else, then click either the locked target icon in the upper left corner, or the target's icon in space. Once you've had it done once, then it will happen with locked and unlocked targets.

It seemed to be when I had multiple objects targeted and was switching back and forth, or when I had something targeted and clicked on something else.
Rosmary	Posted - 2008.11.15 18:15:00 - [19] Glad to see CCP is replying to some of the same problems here. Having said that though, they don't seem to acknowledge the bug in fact is there. So my same advice is wait for the next available patch which won't come till next month and hope that it will be corrected. Finger's crossed.

So I somewhat doubt it needs DXDiag info and other hardware information. It's also happening with and without weapon grouping. I think Siang listed reproducible steps: basically you target something, through the overview or CTRL+click in space, and it almost always doubles up the icons when you click its portrait afterwards. Nevertheless, bug report on its way.
