So, I was merrily fitting up some new ships today when I noticed these weren't for sale in Oursulaert - not the T2, not even the T1.
So I logged in to my Jita alt and found exactly five T1 for sale (3 on one order, 2 on another) for the vastly overinflated price of 4 mil each. I was annoyed, but I paid it. No T2s on sale at all, but the fit still works with T1 so I figured that after all five of these explode I'll work a way to get a small booster in. I should have a few levels of AWU by then, so the extra 2 PG I can find.
I figured that since they're so rare I'd just buy the blueprint and make a bunch. Then I noticed there was no blueprint.
So I'm a bit puzzled - are these just holdovers from a long-gone era? Do they drop as loot? If they do, then why is there a T2?

they are leftovers indeed all the micro BP where changed to small ones so all the micro that are on the market are old stock and rare and overpriced you might say.

Apparently no one was using them, so CCP did some cleanup a few patches back..

Which is a shame actually. Ok, their usefullness was a cornercase to begin with, but I had a Micro Cap Booster II on my Daredevil fit and still have Micro Cap Batteries I (IIs are way expensive) on my CovOps.

Yeah. Micros are occasionally a godsend for frigates. Their super slim fitting requirements and the bonus they give is so worth it when you NEED that extra cap (batteries or cap boosters).

I stopped flying my stiletto when they pulled these things 
I still ****es me off that they took them out on the ground that no one was using them, which is strange since a reasonable number of folk still turn up on this forum asking where to get them, and yet the long list of mods that are unused in eve (and have been always thanks to worthless stats) are happily left to be redundant.
