Well i got my doubt about them being the best merc corps ever.
Sure they probebly get there job done ( i know for a fact) but that's not where my doubts come frome
It's the way they achieve things, an'd i;m not refering to there battle tactics, but to there personal approach on things. Shamefull to see things exploding in local chat by there doing....
Hope they chill a bit on the smacktalk...to keep it fun for everyone...

Tetsuo: Are we enemies or was that just a flame 'cause it's fun?
crice: I don't remember CELES camping a station or similar and podding whoever undocks over and over and over. Please refresh my memory (you could do this by eve mail to not get too off topic if you wish).

Actually there are only a few reputable true merc corps in the game right now, Seleene's 'Body Count' corp above being one of them. Also, there is the question of profesionalism and the conduct of your members. You are making a lot of claims using the word "only" a lot; as in, "We are the only corp that does this or that." Or you make a statement like this:

Sometimes the things that work are better left undiscussed, or else every merc corp would do the same, and then you wouldn't have specialized services this appropriate price tags. Who wants a "jack of all trades" merc corp when you just want them out of your market space. Diversity and speciality are key to a thriving merc economy.
So, you have a few options available to you.
You can occupy a competitor with a standard merc corp while you continue to do business, sinking money into a well that never really gets resolved.
You can hire an RP-friendly merc corp to help aid your storyline with other RP corps.
Or...
You can hire Guiding Hand and remove your competition in a relatively fast and unobtrusive manner. _ “The little brother makes the final sorrowful steps home; he is not welcome...” The Prophecy of Macaper, The 5th Event |

I am sorry and Celestial does what again???
Quote: So you hired a corp to grief them until they stop playing? If not, you should put that in another way.
What do you mean..."What do they do"? They explode.
he was referring to Celestine. Names are easily confused.

Indeed, Crice is simply trying to hijack the thread and bash on Celesapoc. I will not bother to retort on his comments as he is simply bitter about his losses brought on from previous retribution over his corps badmouthing us on the forums.

That list isn't very impressive if you look at it like this:
Thorax (Sir Fordicus) - Pod (Sir Fordicus) Crucifier (minor miner) - Pod (minor miner) Thorax (skragg) Maller (Masikai) - Pod (Masikai) Punisher (Masikai) Raven(light blade) - Pod (light blade) Kestrel (Boonaki) Blackbird (Boonaki) Rifter (Boonaki) Merlin (Kaelakekua) - Pod (Kaelakekua) Thorax (minor miner) - Pod (minor miner) Blackbird (Zeraph Dregamon) - Pod (Zeraph Dregamon) Rupture (Imhotep Khem) Rupture (Imhotep Khem) Omen (Star Crusher) - Pod (Star Crusher) Caracal (Grappler) Blackbird (Grappler) Typhoon (EDEN DIABOS) Rifter (light blade) - Pod (light blade) Mammoth (Ysuna) - Pod (Ysuna)
Nope, still not impressed.

It's not a contest, Spurna, but I am curious to see how well they stand up over the test of time. Perhaps their confidence is justified, perhaps not. Only time will tell. -

Edited by: Raem Civrie on 08/07/2004 13:11:53 That happened in the span of three days, Spurna. Your list seems to span ten, or more.
Also, "kill lists" depend greatly on the corporation being sieged. We always score the most kills in the first few days before the target crawls into a station to talk smack while hoping we go away with time.

I agree completely. The opening nights are almost always the most expensive for a target corp. This can also be affected by the PvP experience of the players in the target corp as well. Corps with more experience tend to disperse much more quickly, thus making kills more challenging. However, even if you are keeping them bottled up in a station and stopping them from doing large scale mining ops, that in itself can be termed a victory depending on exactly what your employer's goals are.
I am not disputing your efficiency, just the vagueness of your "unconventional and often underhanded tactics". Granted, no two merc corps are alike, but as I said above, I'm looking forward to seeing how your corp operates over a prolonged period of time and the amount of success you enjoy.
Good Luck. -
