this is bound to become a self-fulfilling prophecy. similar attitude on the other side will result in more justification by the powers that be to give this war a further nationalistic bent (which seems a little odd in an alliance also comprised of random englishmen, icelanders, all and sundry..)

to be fair, large alliances don't do well in times of peace and widespread blue standings. i'll let whoever angle it how they will, but it all comes to the fact that we (that is, the players..) are here for our daily share of action and entertainment.
