Since the old thread is both outdated and closed, I feel free to create a new thread for the trusted old Enyo.
I decided to fit it with blaster and close range. The 'speed-balance' has been an advantage for the Enyo. If it gets caught in a web, it will still be going at 300m/s.
highs: 4x Light Neutron Blasters with Uranium S (range 2.4km+1.4km) 1x 'Limos' Rocket Launcher with Gremlin Rocket (range 4.5km)
meds: 1x 1MN AB II 1x Warp Disruptor II (range 24km)
lows: 1x SAR II 1x Mag Stab II 1x Cap Power Relay II 1x Adaptive Nano Plate II
This will provide the Enyo with a DPS of 169. Orbiting at 750 m/s (-60% for a normal web (300 m/s)). It will tank 46 dps, if you get hit, so don't!
The Warp Disruptor drains your cap, so it will only run just under 2+ minutes with the armor repper off, 30 seconds with everything on! (My capactior-skills are a bit low, but it can be easily be perma-run with good capacitor-skills.)
Orbiting at 2.3km or less (down to 1.6km is good) will reduce your chance of getting hit, which is your strength.

How come you chose a disruptor rather than a scrambler if you intend to fight at small blasterrange, cap and fast opponents being an issue? Parrots, commence!

You must have some pretty good fitting skills to get that all on there. The fit I usually go with (I do not have AWU) is something like:
Highs: 4x Light Neutron Blaster II's w/ Faction Antimatter (and some Null S in the cargo just in case)
Mids: 1x Cold Gas Arject Afterburner 1x j5B Scrambler
Lows: 2x Magnetic Field Stabilizer 1x Damage Control (T2 if it'll fit, named if not) 1x Overdrive
Drone: 1x Warrior II
Outputs around 225 DPS but I wouldn't recommend flying it unless you're in a gang where someone else can web or you're fight something big and slow. A little bit better DPS than the Ishkur but considerably less versitile. I fly it just for a change of pace but the Ishkur is pretty much always going to be the much better AF. ----- My Pirate Blog: http://evenewb.blogspot.com/

I should post "FAIL" but I don't want to go throught the effort of thinking about a good Enyo fitting. Probably because there isn't one. Just get a Thorax or Vexor. You'll be much happier.

Edited by: Mankirks Wife on 14/11/2008 03:14:23 Here's the Enyo fit I came up with, for solo FW pvp
HIGH: 4x Light Ion Blaster (Faction Antimatter) 'Arbalest' Rocket Launcher (Faction rockets)
MID: 10MN Afterburner II Warp Scrambler I
LOW: Micro K-Exhaust Core Augmentation Micro Auxiliary Power Core Reactive Plating II Damage Control II
Fit tracking rigs if you have enough AWU - ions will track orbiting Warrior IIs OKish but not optimally, and given it's lack of tank shooting them should be a pretty high priority.
But yeah.. it's still a fail fit - Enyo fails pretty hard at solo pvp in general when compared side-by-side with the much more versatile Ishkur, mostly due to how hard it is to get and stay at a small blaster's optimal with the changes to webs and scrams. Oversize AB looks like it may very well become mandatory on solo blaster boats, maybe even AC boats, but that has the extra downside of having to give up low slots for RCUs or MAPCs.
In small groups though, I think a Taranis and more conventionally fit Enyo would make a fantastic small-group pvp tag-team - ranis just has to hold it down long enough for the Enyo to get there and then GTFO, even if it's scrammed it should be able to survive if it has some buffer fit. ---

my enyo setup ive used since the patch... ( i love it)
HIGH 3x ion blaster II ( CN AM) 1x small diminishing nos
MID 1x t2 warp scrambler 1x t2 AB
LOW 1x adaptive nano II 1x EANM II 1x Magstab 1x SAR t2
drone: whatever you want, i keep a hob 2.
nice DPS, effective tank. small nos can keep repper running, and has saved my ass a couple times. great wolfpack setup.
still, this is just what i think. you still wont know where the sig is tho |
