Missile nerf whines - when will they end?

Chienka Viziam	Posted - 2008.11.14 08:18:00 - [1] It seems to me as if all the little carebears who have been running level 4 missions completely risk free - or more importantly, making ISK, risk free - are a little upset that when CCP saw fit to rebalance missiles for the purposes of PvP (an aspect of the game far more important than PvE), their risk-free market-inflating activities were delivered a tiny blow. Not to fret though! There is a new option! CCP have included in this patch a brand new ship that can make millions of ISK a day with - get this - even less interaction! You can macro an orca to undock from a station, fill its hold with veldspar (or some other exotic ore) and redock, unload, rinse and repeat! With minimal skill training required - just a week or two for your hulk alt - you can have an atomated ISK farming capital ship in the infite safety of highsec. But it seems that even with this massive new empire gift, butthurt carebears are proving incapable of getting over their old habits, and are already petitioning CCP to have their zero-skill-required missiles returned to their former glory! Perhaps they forgot the huge favour CCP did for their slobbery little faces very recently - guaranteeing them complete immunity from PvP in highsec. And now as soon as they get a tiny little nerf themselves, they all go running to the forums like a bunch of crybabies! Please children, say hello to the nerfbat, PvP'ers (for those of you unfamiliar with the term, thats those of us who like to blow up your faction fitted CNRs) have had to tolerate nerf after nerf, and now welcome the nerfbat with open arms every patch. You don't see them pretending like its the end of the world all over the forums, they learned to adapt to the changing environment. Break out of your old level 4 mission running ways and try something new like trading or macro mining in an orca! All it takes is a little brainpower* on your part, and you could be making billions with less effort than before. *Brainpower subject to availability. Only available in participating lowsec and nullsec outlets.

To answer the question in topic title, the whines will stop when all the low skill point raven pilots have trained up some more skills and find that the missions are just as easy as they used to be.

LOL PVP'ers whine alot more than carebears. i dont now about that i mean the PVP side of caldari have adapted to use there ECM and crow more in fleet and solo and then theres gallenete amarr and minmatar who have been hit bad (minmatar worsed hit) and we all adapted and didnt die PVPers pick the positive out and use the positive to there advantage carebears just whine and whine and whine untill CCP gives in to them (which has happened) so carebears whine the most and are even funnier because theres no logic or any facts/solution behind what they say

Mission runner whine cause they can't kill the warp scrambling frig from 100 km away. They actually have train to some else, like drones, to kill off the smaller stuff. I say good riddance to any & all who want EvE on easy mode. "Can I haz y0rz stuufz?" I think Avon said it best that Eve is like Pokemon "Got to train them all" Your average 0.0 pvper isnt going to whine about missles, he'll just adapt & he's been adapting to whatever situation comes his way. If you been out there you would know what's really involved. You don't rely on any one thing and train for all eventualities. I think the carebears in empire are whining the most. It might actually have people train other skills & other races. Oh noes. Anyway generalists always do better in nature than specialists. Evolve or die. Have a nice day.

FYI : I am a semi-carebear, noob PVPer that missions in high-sec, rat in 0.0, get blown up in PVP often and regularly fly Drakes and Ravens. More than happy with the patch, thank you.
