I had never witnessed a piece of Arkonor, Bistot, Spudo, Dark Ochre, Crokite before. I decided to sneek my bestower into CA space since it was the closest to look at these rocks first hand and to snag a piece or two without the costly loss of a battleship.
So i am off on my trip. I never thought much of CA but i met some really nice CA members on the way down who gave me free reins to explore. Thanks to them. However i was podded which was fully expected but not by CA, but by some guy who said he was hunting CA members in a Elite frigate. Heres my question
He took 2 shots with the frigate, I have 5 mill skill points roughly the first shot with his taranis took all of the shields and 75% hull and armor. The second shot blew the ship. the third shot blew my pod, the whole engagement lasted less than 4 seconds
Log shows he was carrying 1 anode light nuetron and 1 regulated light nuetron.
Now i know bestoweres are POS but can they be taken in two shots by an elite frig? This while i was webbed and stabbed as well...

Well he was using loot neutron blasters..he prolly had three going. You get a 25% ROF bonus (and damage iirc) to hybrids as a ship bonus. Correct range and anti-matter = cheerio. He prolly had an insane ROF and you didnt log half the impacts.
You can kill any frig in less than 10secs with a taranis at the right range, so your soggy paper bag bestower would have been mincemeat.
BTW 5m SPs eagle!!?? You sure had some break from EVE..

Structure : 937,5 skill Mechanic

Total hitpoints with skills at lvl 5 = 2031.25
And with resistance to damage on both shields and armor like I will show here below :
Shields
Em = 0%
Explosive = 20%

So looking at those numbers I have to salute the Interceptor pilot for his uber damage fo he must have done on approximatly 1828,125 damage per shot, and thats with small turrets lol.
Not possible my friend so look in your logs again.
But dont travel in 0.0 in an indy, use a frigate or shuttle.

First, he probably had 3 turrets...
Second, these guns have an insane ROF. The log doesn't show all hits. With his ROF, your log probably only shows like 1 of 6 hits.
And third, the CA is huge. Their members very frequently switch corps and starts new ones. And someone mining there is supposed to be CA. So, with the b0rked standings atm it's not strange he shot you down thinking you were CA.

I think it's possible to fit 4 anode light neutrons on taranis.. with 25% ship bonus to dmg and rof.. and with a dmg mod or 2.. he could easily be doing 100+ dmg per shot. At 1-2sec ROF.
Omniwar.. our bestower pilot probably had a mwd or 2 fitted on.. so that means -25% or -50% shields.

My bad on the skill points... i forgot i was in an alt she has indy 4... but yea log only shows two hits 1 from the anode and 1 from the regulated.

no mwd, i had a warp stabilizer <--didnt help 1 repair, 1 type d inertial, and 1 expanded cargo 1
i had my shield booster activated it immediately after attempting to warp but it didnt even engage, bestower made a 90 degree turn away from the frigate before it was destroyed so however long it takes to go from straight to 90 degrees with a type d inertial, is how long that battle lasted for any mathmeticians
Xecl, smart bomb shield extender and that was it i think.
like i said i figured i would be podded, its just that i had never ran across an elite frigate before..

By the sound of it, it ran over you. 
you did the smart thing i suppose, it was only a bestower and a clone.
the dumb thing was taking it to 0.0. and the other dumb thing was taking it to GW.

Yes but i got some really good screen shots of arkonor, bistot and spudo sitting in a clump where the arkonor had about 4093 units x 3 rocks and the bistot was around 2500 units or so.. this field had more rocks then i could count :) and no im not gonna give out the locale!

Hey now no violence! i just wanted to see what it looked like.... see how bad getting shot up was, besides my char was podded... its in safe space now. i had a clone but character only has 149k skill points or so mostly devoted to hauling
although if any CA peeps would like me to haul for them i would be glad to for a little bit of mega or zydrine/trip whatever is reasonable.

about the taranis thing...
I was for the first time risking deliberately a ship for PvP purpose in 0.0 space. Bought a kestrel, put a mwd few cap rechargers and 4 launchers... nothing special there.
Trying to hunt pirates... targeted a few lonely pilots but no shots yet... then this pirate comes :)
Taranis, he mwd toward me at insane speed. Before I know it, he had targeted me (and im still right clicking to get the lock target..). Shoot shoots, see my shields going down. F1-F2-F3-F4... and 4 warning messages "Are you sure you want to fire on civilians?" ... LOL .. then I died. The whole engagement took 5 secs, 4 secs to select the "yes"... that was a massacre.
I have to say thanks to the pilot, that was a fun 5 secs. Im getting another friggy today to retry that experience. Tho I have a question... how the hell you guys do those things that fast? Iv learn the basics buttons (F1...) but damn...
On the elite frig thing, does the bonus applies only if you are of the race of the ship? If yes, is the malediction (the highest elite frig) any good? Any suggestions? Had so much fun in frigs :)

Mercoxite is the roid which you need deep core mining to mine and which yields lots of morphite.
Small ammount of morphite comes from some regular roids too.
