If i wondering what kind if option i have for getting mission runners to agress so i can kill them (must be someone is the wide univers that will fall for the tricks)
im not a 100% sure what options i have but will it work if i salvage and loot their wreaks, do they then get the option to shoot me? and do i get to shoot back after that. and are there any other ways of doing it, im a complet noob on the subject.
edit: also what the best way to find sayed mission runners

If you salvage a wreck, no. But if you loot it the mission runner will be able to shoot at you. As soon as he takes any aggressive action he will appear flashy red in overview. At this point you cna return fire withoout Concord intervention.
The best way to find mission runners is by using probes.
Note you can do the same thing to ratters and to miners, with possibly similar results. |

sound doable thanks, about the probing, can i find a guide for best locating mission runners, i imagin it will be quite hard with the low str on recon probes and the fact that the mission runner can be all over the system.

Here is one you can try if you are so inclined. Fly an IBIS 32 KM off a main stargate, wreck your IBIS (self destruct) and rename it Raven Navy Issue Wreck ( saw something like this the other night near waskissen).
Drop a can next to the wreck with some high end goodies that people might need. Then cloak with a manticare off the can, or some other cloaky thingy trick. Happy mission runner stops by to slavage the wreck and check your loot cause nobody is around and its free...they take it.
Proceed to have you and your friends fire away until the happy go lucky salvager is no longer so happy go lucky. Best of luck Ships i noticed the other night includeed a manticore (good choice) and a few cloaked BS's. I recommend if anybody sees this, you align before you scoop.

I'm fairly certain that renaming drops in space like this is an exploit no matter how you slice it. Last I heard it could be successfully petitioned that is. |

so the way to do it is like this.
get a coverto op to probe out the mission runner, fly to the hit and MB
switch to a frigate and steal/salvage all the ships a w8 for him/her to shoot me
when s/he shoots me ill go back and switch to a big boat (geddon or somthing like that) and collect?
that sure is alot of ship changing... is this the most optimal way to do it? im afraid of salvaging in the covert op becaues of the low EHP and im not sure it feisable to do the probing in a normal ship? mabye the t1 version of the covertop

Bring some Corp mates along for the pillaging. Mission runners have no PvP mods, so its like nuts in the fire.

Your probe ship can be a T1 ship. For Amarr I believe the most appropriate would be the Magnate. The other races have an equivalent ship with bonuses to scan analysis time as well. |

I would have to agree that proof or STFU. I could see it in a noob system outside a station but anywhere else I would assume it's standard eve mechanics...Just a guess but an exploit seems a little extreme.
To the OP- one of the best things you can find when you scan down a mish runner is hoping they use smartbombs. Nothing says loving like flying up to a mish runner bombing away and having them aggress you completely on accident with one. I have seen a few get concorded because of them.
