Yes there are boys and girly snakes, sadly we dont know which we have.
Later on you can guess when it's full grown, but its kinda hard now.
And it allready eats tiny mice once every few days.
And we still dont know about a name, some are a bit uneasy to pronounce or to explain to relatives

Try warm, relatively dark places such as boilers and (seriously) behind the fridge.
If you have an attic/loft - particularly one that is well insulated - you might want to try there too.
Also, call out "Dave" while searching - if it responds, then that's obviously its name

We will try all names, and the room it escaped in is rather warm.
All heating is off, we will try and listen tonight. It is very active at night when its dark. Usually it made loads of noise so hopefully it will do so tonight as well.
Otherwise we will try to lure it with dead mice in a day or 3 when its hungry. How far can snakes sense a dead mousy?

Then i saw it slither into the earth in which the plant was planted.
Its name is now houdini and i dont think we'll have those plants for long
Any idea why he digs itself into the earth?
