arjun	Posted - 2004.07.08 12:21:00 - [61] i was hunting at a spawn with about 10 easy npc. started collecting the loot and fell asleep. 1 apoc less. sheet happens. get over it. lost another while being afk in front of a station while a raid was on. i had clicked on dock for the station with empty local. forgott that at that time there was a fee to be paid for docking. so my ship was sitting there. another apoc.

DREAMWORKS	Posted - 2004.07.08 14:51:00 - [69] I made a lemming move... Had a tempest in a belt, got wtfpwned by 2 warlords, got my 2nd account to free the tempest up and it got wtfpwned aswell... Destable	Posted - 2004.07.08 19:49:00 - [75] I went out and kestrel ganked an ore thief one day. Docked, grabbed my uninsured scorp, undocked, and got WTFPWND by Concord. Docked in pod, swore a lot at myself, waited what I was sure was plenty of time for the criminal timer to expire, grabbed my backup uninsured scorp, and got WTFPWND by Concord. Again.

Not being from the area we were fighting in.. I heard a "Let's take the station", being tired and in an intense battle attacked the station, which then attacked back. I logged out and saved my ship. I logged back in to see if my location had been moved (meaning I got podded), click on my character by habit and "entering space", lag lag lag, OH look sentry guns and bye bye Raven and my guns I just got. I didn't say a word. Convo'd Omniwar and told him to get my can before anyone else, he didn't Dietdew got my wonderful can full of great goodies! Another time I planted mines all over the exit to a station. a Neutral undocked and blew up and sentry guns attacked me. I was 180KM from the damn guys but they still hit me and blew me up. I fall asleep with my head on the keyboard, order was givin to call it a night (with me still sleeping in belt). Xirtam yelled at my brother on TS to call me and wake me up. By that time it was around 3:45 or maybe a little later, i get back on TS in time to hear everyone laughing at my near stupid mistake. Another time, VOTF had an empire war vs EV, we were in pator and we find out that they came from their old HQ in Golmorogod to fight us. VOTF, not one to disappoint quickly arm for battle, undock and engage. We are kickin the crap out of them but then some noob corp SOB runs in front of my cruise missile to cause an act of agression on a neutral, and BOOM my Tempest goes up in smoke. I petitioned it and got some BS reply from CCP saying something to the effect of "Though the act of using neutrals as human shields is highly frowned upon, it is not considered an exploit, therefore there is nothing we can do." sigh gotta love CCP...

As the first to undock I was first engaged and well warp scrambled, but there were only 3 enemy BSes and we had numbers and EW once everyone undocked, so I could have survived IF I HADN'T HIT MY LARGE SMARTBOMB. I still have the kill mail. The gurristas get first billing becuase of the sick damage of 3 sentry guns, but I think Jehutty laid the final blow. I'd have to go home to check. The second was much worse. I kitted out a Dominix with blasters and a pile of named stuff for agent kill missions. After a profoundly boring bit of agent running, I minimized one account to do some web stuff and my other account. Maximized literally one second before my Dominix blew. I had warped to the mission bookmark but forgotten to kill the NPCs before minimizing The named stuff on board was prolly worth 50 mil, ish, and naturally didn't survive the destruction of the ship (well, 1 mag II did survive :/) BW edit: I'm so never buying another Dominix. Talk about adding self-insult to self-injury I apologised and thought people would never take me as a serious community player again, but life goes on and people learn to respect you for the good you do and ignore your occasional stupidity. In the end its about 99% of your actions not the 1% completely lame stuff you pull or mistakes you make. So like someone else said, chill, take a look outside, take a day off EVE and remember EVE isnt EVERYTHING. That and despite the sizeable amounts of people in the community secretly calling you, and others, a 'n00b' the mass of the public won't. We're a community in this game more so than i've seen in ANY other onliner. So ignore those who say they are 1337 and have never made mistakes, these are the people with no friends and no soul.
