**Inspired by Pantheera**
This is a Lottery for Mingerss plus a bonus 1Bill ISK
How it works
There are 49 tickets for sale at 300m isk each. Based on the UK National Lottery Bonus Ball Number. (The draw date will be decided after all tickets are sold).
So you as a "player" based upon the numbers 1-49 have the opportunity to win a 30m SP Toon and 1Bill ISK!
How do I Enter?
Below are the Numbers 1-49, Choose a number (reply to this thread only, no ingame mails) and send 300m isk to Mingerss. (You may enter as many times as you can afford).
About Mingerss
Great for Low Sec/0.0 Mining
Great for Refining
Great for Exploration and Probing
Great for Research and Manufacturing
Great Learning Skills/Attributes
Positive wallet balance (1 Bill ISK)
Some Assets/Ships/Mods (Cheetah Included)
Located in High Sec (in an NPC Corporation)
No Kill Rights
 ATTENTION
If all 49 tickets do not sell within a Month all ISK will be Refunded.
You may not cancel your ticket once isk has been sent.
You may Choose a number from the list below on a first come first served basis.
No reserving of numbers unless ISK is sent.

Thanks for the props on the reference.
I hope this doesnt change the char bazzar too much, as long as everone follows the basic rules then this should be ok, ive done alot of background checking ( wanting to be the first to do this) and this will be legal unless ccp changes the rules. good luck with yours and if you do well maybe you buy some of my tickets. |

Maybe ask for a little less isk for each ticket if you can't make the number of tickets less? 14.7 Mil isk for a 29 mil SP char seems like you are just trying to get a LOT more than the character is worth in a creative way.

I know out there, there are people with a lot less sp training the very same skills mingerss already has. I also know that not every new player (or old) can afford to shell out the asking price. So what a bargain for a new player (or old) to risk such a small and easy amount of isk to get on a 1 in 49 chance of winning a good character. (Keep in Mind that Based on a 6 number lottery you have a 1 in 13,983,816 chance of winning the UK National Lottery.)
I actually went to the Mining and Manufacturing channel in game and researched what people would be willing to pay per ticket.
All I know is, I would gamble 200m for a chance at good return! As I have done in the past with shares with my main character. |

I think it is a fantastic idea. as for the 1 in 13k chance.... you cannot compare this to the UK national lottery, as the 6 numbers you mentioned are the 6 numbers you pick, not the total numbers available...
for this sort of thing you have a 1 in 49 chance of winning, with a loss of 300m for a potential gain of 8 bill. so who ever wins will be well ahead, Mingerss will make more isk than he could have and 48 people are out of pocket 300m each. tbh the potential gain far outweighs the loss. how long does it take the average pod pilot to make 300m? a week? if your lazy.

The idea is good but there are at lest 2 problems:
1. Not everyone afford to throw away 200m
2. Trust. How should i know that the draw will be fair? In the worst case, you could enter lottery with your second account and "win". Which means, that you would get 9.8 bil isk for free.
If u can convince me that 2nd problem isn't going to happen, then i will buy the ticket.

The Draw is decided by the UK national lottery Bonus Ball not me. The draw date we will use has not been decided yet either! |

I just spoke with an ISD and GM about Character Lotteries, their reply was:
[15:07:36] ISD Modicus > mingress, you can transfer characters as long as ye pay the the fee to have them moved. How you choose to allow this seems to be up to you, check the character bazaar forums for more details on these rules.

Character Rules state all isk must go to the character being sold. Also the character selling rules do not allow scamming. Please read them. This is NOT a scam.

Yep, he hi-jacked my thread as well. If i were interested in playing a lotto I would go buy a lotto ticket in RL Interested in buying not playing a lotto or paying more than what a toon is worth just to pull it out of a lotto
