(allthough the damp thing is not very effective, the frigs have like 200km targeting range :/) Never tried to warp scramble a npc, but they have a good eccm system... The reason for this uberness is probably because we the "humans" have a thing called "common sense", not the bots... --- -sland! Kerosene	Posted - 2004.07.08 08:14:00 - [5] If NPC's were easy to ECM... 0.0 mining would be a far too easy since all the mining ships would need are ECM modules and they'd be off scot free without needing protection Agent missions would be even more stupidly easy BS chaining (if it still works) would be completely risk free. Anyone NPC hunting would only need to fit racial ECM's in their midslots and be guaranteed invincibility I'm sure there's more involving CONCORD but I'm not in Zombie so never given it too much thought.

Since last patch they WARP OUT "sometime" when they get outnumbered. For example I got a 2 BS and 4 interceptor spawn... I shoot down the frigs first, than I started to kill the first BS while I dropped my drones out to soften the other.... Well the 2 1mill BS asap they saw they lost their frig escort ,and they faceing with my drones... they just warped out... I was quite angry... you can imagine... Shooting at them before they leave seems to help. Just like one of the other posters mentioned, yes you can jam them as long as you're using the multi's and do 16+ in every sensor type. Dampen actually does NOT work. Have put as many as 4 on a ship and they still lock and shoot from 60k+. Dampen also doesn't count as aggressive towards NPCs. Meaning you get no sec status increase if alls you do is dampen. I haven't checked to see if jamming them earns you sec status or not.

As for the point of this topic, CCP changed the targetting stats for NPCs a long time ago, after pirates were jamming CONCORD and people were making risk free mega-Isk in 0.0 space.
