Well, if you are like me, as many of you are I believe, the Quantum Rise patch has been a disaster and you have been unable to play the game, or get into the game.
So while we all sit here in this forum, returning every evening, or every hour, or every minute , in the vain hope of some sort of response or feedback from CCP, lets think of things that can keep us occupied.
Because we sure as aint playin any Eve today!
- November 22 is the start of the You Tube Live special event which is basically a free concert thats being hosted and streamed on You Tube. Interesting.
If you have any other interesting tidbits feel free to post an entertain us.
Oh and CCP, that means you too.

Personally, I've found a few belt that I can just park my ship in, start up the miners, and turn to another endeavor (building websites for clients) rather than getting into gameplay that should work like it did before QR but doesn't... Making money whilst characters train and Miner II's and drones mine... :)
Don't ask me about the US$30 I'm paying per month while waiting for CCP (aka, the garage boys!) to at least respond beyond "Don't run two sessions at the same time!"... :)

Honestly, thats' what bothers me most. The sticky threads are old, have not been updated, no acknowledgement even of NUMEROUS bugs more than a week after the patch.
But I hate Blizzard even more and will never play WoW again after they borked that game beyond belief and ruined pvp.
But you are right, QR is a disaster. |

I don't as of the 6th Dec they have till then to change my mind but it is not looking good and once I leave I won't be coming back WoW here I come. I hear their recent patch was implemented without the sort of issues we are getting here. |

QR is a Distaster? Yes and No, there are bugs and errors.
Lag: After about an hour being on FPS starts dropping and gets laggy, have to relog. Amarr Space is insane with lag this expansion. Word of people's in game Jita has lag again.
EvE-Voice: Sometimes doesn't let you Join Audio (No Option)re log sometimes fixes it. Sometimes if you Leave Audio you crash.
Interfaces: Lag Spikes from loading interfaces now.
Mods: I've noticed mods going offline by themselves, it happened once to me in my Mega where 2- 425mm's went offline...no reason. Could have been an isolated incident...idk.
Gates: No issues with them yet.
Otherwise this is a good expansion, just needs some fixes.

X3:Terran Conflict - Not multiplayer and way more complex but if a person can hang in there and get over the X learning curves it's an awesome space game.
I won't even think of EVE for a couple months just getting back to where I can figure out my last X3:Reunion saves.. Had tons of trade routes programmed and wrote some custom code for the station managers.
..tack on a month or more from that point to get the hang of X3:TC and I'd already save more than the cost of a whole new EGOSOFT bundle off of steam. (actually not since I prepaid a year of EVE.. humph)
Just came out in the last month or so. Lastly, EGOSOFT is a company that cares about it's fans AND customers. |

Your original, and no you can't have my stuff I will be giving that to others who have helped me in the game. Why would I give it to a stranger on the forum? If you have any doubt I have already cancelled my account though let me assure you I don't lie. I can take a screenshot if you like to prove it. ;) I unlike some am simply not prepared to pay for software which simply does not work as intended or at the very least is almost unusable.
Having said this though I have been playing with my alternative character in low sector as that character has nothing to lose if pod killed. So I thought what the hell I might as well go exploring while I wait for the issues to be resolved. Anyway I don't seem to be lagging whilst using this character or if I am it is unnoticeable in comparison to what I was experiencing with my main character. I don't know if this is because the areas that I have been to only have 1 or 2 players in or if there is another reason for this. I have yet to try my main again maybe the problem was server side and has been fixed although judging from other recent posts it does not sound like it.

i'm really getting disappointed, haven't been able to play since the patch and have not yet gotten any response to my forums posts and petitions. Really don't want to have to cancel my account over not being able to play, cause i do love the game, but why keep paying if i can't play and am not getting any help to figure out why =( |
