I gave up mission a while ago as they became a little tedious.
However, after seeing corp. mates earning a reasonable amount of money from them and saying that they were more varied now, I thought I'd give it another go.
So back to my lvl 3 Brutor Tribe (eq29) agent I went.
Wow what an improvement, out of 14 missions 10, yes 10, have been the same one!!! 'Avenge a Fallen Comrade'.
These missions are usually located in the same system so it's no biggie. However, the rewards are typically low 50-60k + bounties if you're lucky (ie not Amarr Navy) and the loot has been pitiful.
Now, ok I think to myself, there's another lvl 3 agent in the same station (eq not quite as good), so lets give them a try. So I go to take a mission and guess what? Yep that’s right 'Avenge a Fallen Comrade'
Looking back through the mission log for the Brutor tribe reveals that approx 75% of my missions are this one.
At this rate there won’t be a Brutor Tribe left to revenge!!!
Is it just bad luck or are these agents a tad broken?
PS Bonuses are only ever cash as well it seems, no mods, no components??!

I'm pretty sure why this is happening now. The avenge a fallen comrade mission has no bonus reward, but about 90% of the other mission do. It seems that the bonus reward is probably the culprit in breaking the other missions.
However I'm a little stumped as to why the bonus reward breaks, since the other missions have worked fine in our testing lab. My current theory is that there is a very small chance of the bonus reward breaking the mission. However since there is a code in place to prevent "broken" missions from being dished out again, this might have the side effect of preventing these missions being dished out for other players should a single player encounter this bug in the same node / area.
This isn't my code so the fix will probably have to wait a wee bit longer. But I'm going to pull a few strings and see if this problem can get raised to a higher priority on our programmers list  .

Thanks Zrakor, was getting a little monotonous, not that I mind blowing up Amarr Navy detective and Navy Mallers 
EDIT: Yeah sorry think I confused things over the bonuses. What I should have said was that this mission doesnt have a bonus, which makes it worse.

I went on a comrade avanging spree for almost a week. The repitition did not stop until the last patch, now I'm getting a variety of missions again. Either I'm lucky, or you fixed it.

yes please - it¦s annoying if 8 of 10 missions are the same.
You talked about a code to prevent dishing out broken missions Zrakor - my finding is that declining a mission makes the system choose another mission again.
But this is not a new point and it has been discussed here for weeks already ....

i am getting into this loop every time I get that mission. If I decline it, i get few different missions and then again as soon as I get this mission it will start repeating itself. Same story after the last patch. It is not resolved.

Just a wee bit off topic but I have been having good luck getting tech 2 components. I have gotten about 6 missions of tech 2 componets as bonus rewards out of like 50 missions completed.

I also keep getting "avenge a fallen comrade" from my agent a hell of a lot.
Also all of my bonuses are now ammo. I have social 3 and neg 4, and was getting better bonuses before the patch. Can you guys fix this?

I too have been getting this "avenge fallen comrade mission" from both of my Lai Dai LVL 3 agents in the same station
agent 1 - 5x avenge fallen comrade ....
Mission I have been given now but yet to accept is the 6 part mission
agent 2 - 3x avenge fallen comrade .... then 1 courier
That is 9 kill missions in a row from a research corporation.....hope it is fixed soon..

I am getting nothing but avenging fallen comrades missions, pants reward, getting very very boring, please can you look at what is causing this its been going on for days now really making the game very dull, lots of people are reporting this issue, seen other threads on this issue.

This problem has been messing up my mission running for weeks on end now, at one time if i refused a mission then id get a little veriaty for a little while, this no longer works for me.
now i find myself logging in to do a couple of 'avenge' missions then i log off cos i cant cope with doing it.
last patch only improved things for a day or so then it seemed to get stuck again.
Eventually i gave up on my lvl3 Q19 (EQ39) Brutor tribe agent for a slightly worse agent, now both of them are stuck in this loop.
TBH i cant be arsed carrying on, its just so monotonous.
