Have found myself in a small and very noobish pvp corp and am pretty new to pvp myself. After searching low sec for hours and finding nothing but groups of T2 cruisers and BS's we usually end up picking a fight against comedy odds just for the hell of it (on the theory that eventually our kill to loss ratio will go up).
Assuming that the lone ratting hac is pretty much a yeti who's footprints you've seen in the forums but never appears in RL, does anyone have tips on getting into a fight that might be won by a 4 person T1 cruiser noob fleet? |

Otherwise if the region you are looking for kills in is dead, then move to another region till you find targets. |

Wardec some carebears or go can flipping.
Or maybe find some non-blob low sec areas. _________ |

Head on over to Amamake and hang out in the top belt. If you wait long enough you will have plenty of PVP. Not sure what a T2 Cruiser or BS has to do with it, with enough people or enough ewar/dps (even from smaller ships) anything will fall. Sounds like your FC needs some gang leadership/target hunting skills.

KBP7 is a nice 0.0 system if you want targets, usually several ratting battleships in there and it's accesible from highsec (Dital). Sev3rance like to blob though so you will need to get a gank quick and leave, I find that a Thorax/Vexor/Rupture works nice. I recommend a neutral alt to scout the gate beforehand as they like to camp it with 10-20 man gangs when the spot people in Dital with their alts.

Check out Hysera. It is low sec with an Ice Field. Any ship warping into the system triggers the local gankers to warp to the ice field (hoping to pick off a noob miner). Just wait til they show up and blow em up. Then scoot before they call in the rest of their pirate buddies.

This.
They don't even have to be epic carebears, you could probably wage a decent war against a semi-lame PvP corp as long as you pick your fights and all know your roles.
That, or take chapters up on his offer. If you're smart about it, you should be able to fight fairly evenly with those guys (should, being the operative word), and they'll no doubt give you a good experience. Meanwhile, on the other side of town . . . |

my advice, dump your mates, start your own corp with ceo alt and get an alt into the biggest noob -> carebear corp you can find.

Edited by: The7SensE on 19/11/2008 03:41:35 can 4 cruisers really destroy a NH? someone said something that resembled "it doesnt matter what ship you encounter". i'm just curious... how do you do that? also given the fact that the 4 pilots have close to 0 skillz. ___________________________ All that we see or seem, Is but a dream within a dream... |

yep 4x cruisers can even kill a NH, just make sure at least 1 of you cruisers is a BB.. ECM is a newbie's best friend (and FOF missiles his worst enemy) lol
