What I don't want:
Small corp/mining corp griefers. (Your war upon a defenceless 20man corp that is spent station camping and smacking in local is boring, get a life.) 0.0 Corps just looking to make Tax ISK from my work. (I'm looking at you, FTZ members.) Mission Farmers (Boring, what's the fun in doing the exact same thing every day?) Anti-Pirates. (If I feel like Yar-ing, it's not your concern.)
What I do want: PvP when I'm looking for it. (And I don't mean station camping and smacking in local for 2 hours.) 0.0 is a plus, but I can ninja rat for isk/sec if needed anyday. Corp not full of morons w/ delusions of grandeur. (It's a game, I don't care "who you are" in a game. Looking at you D Royal)
Do your research on me if you wish (all my kills/losses are posted at Battleclinic), then fire off an eve mail to me if you think I'd fit.

Hi Rex. I am with a corp called Spectrum Solutions (SPSO). My director has told me that we are looking to recruit pilots meeting certain standards - which it seems you do. We are a good all round corp (though we mostly do PvP), and we are part of a good all round alliance/coalition (lots of people). We use TS and Vent and the corp is active 23/7, on my part I am EU TZ, but it goes across the board AU-US-EU.We have just moved to a new area of space from which we will be doing a lot of everything - ratting, missions, mining, industry PvP etc. We also meet your bill for being a good relaxed corp - the director is an Aussie (enough said ). The alliance/coalition has caps people, my corp is mostly about the smaller ships, so you would fit right in.
Why dont you give my corp director a nudge, his name is Jalden Ral. If you cant get him give me a shout/mail and I'll get you patched in with the correct people :) Fly Safe -Mith.

So, after I told the one guy he couldn't follow directions, you chose to do the same...
This strikes me as the actions of someone with a learning disability.

Hey there rex, hope you're well.
You can find a little info about our corp/alliance here;
http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=869492
I've also had a brief look at your battle clinic profile, it would be nice to get another mintar spec char within our ranks.. it appears you're pretty mean with a cane. I have some questions for you also if you don't mind? Are you able to fly any t2 cruiser class ships at all such as hacs/recons? And also what timezone are you located in?
Feel free to look up myself on battleclinic, i will be in-game shortly so you can grab me if needed. If we're not what you're looking for then I wish you all the best with your search.
Oli.

I'm going to let you off the hook here because you did ask some questions that I should list.
I'm trained up for both HAC and Recon, I've just not had the incentive to dump the cash into one as of yet. I'd rather fit a Wolf or Cane currently and head out in one of those. More Bang for my buck currently. I don't spend a lot of time on ratting or missions, so I don't drop a ton of cash on the ships themselves unless I have a good reason.
As for timezone Eastern USA normally.

I agree 100% the wolf/jaguar/rifter are nice ships. Just out of curiosity, what exactly are you 'letting me off the hook' from?

The original directions here are to Eve-Mail me, right? I mocked 2 guys before you (and a 3rd blanked his out) yet you still chimed in here. I let you off the hook from being chewed out for not following directions because, as I said, you did ask a couple of good questions other corps would want to know. Answering them here would save me time later (don't have to answer them multiple times), so I did that and didn't mock your reading skills.
Now I mock your comprehension skills, as it should have been fairly obvious. (At least 3 other people managed to figure it out while I've been afk-ing across the cluster.)
I'm starting to think being a window licker is a job requirement for recruiters. |

lol, you've a bit of bite to you ha.
No, i did infact read that after my initial post, hense the evemail i sent you. The reason i kept pushing it was to enquire as to whether it had anything to do with our tax rate [as you had stated in your post, you're not to fond of high taxes]. To which i would have justified it and told you it goes towards our ship replacement program.
At the end of the day bud, I'm just trying to help you along, this whole process just emphased the point that you would like to recieve an evmail rather than post here. You also seem to be posting here quite frequently so it really can't be that bad, can it?
As i said before, best of luck with your search.
For the recod, if you feel that strongly about making a point, bold it and centre it.

Seems I should explain the finer points of subtlety...
The point of the matter is it takes more to go in game and drop an eve mail than it does to canvas this board and copy/paste a wall of text. People who can't follow farking directions are not people I care to associate myself with.
It also is more likely that since the person has to put more effort forward to contact me, they are more likely to be interested if they go through with it. This helps to weed out the people who are just looking to take my money.
So, I never complained about taxes, I stated I didn't want to be taxed and not supported.
I never said I didn't want to read the forums, I just asked for a specific contact method.
Of course, we've seen here that people can't read, and I've already gotten eve mails from people who's corps don't fit what I asked for.
In conclusion, people sure don't mind being stupid. |

Actually from a web design view point centreing a bolded text is to much emphasis, plus just getting in on a great thread

True, However personally from a typographic point of view, if all your body copy is left aligned, then bolding and leaving the particular copy in question left alligned may not always be enough. The problem then is mixing the justified left text with the centred text as these to compositions to not generally mix well. you need lots of negative space which you dont always have on foums. the smiley space looks sh*t because of this :D [most of this thread has been pretty pointless tbh, including this post lol. Sorry for that ha]
and rex i agree with both of your statements, i initially overlooked the last part, i was just merely explaining my reasons for pushing you for an answer. |

Hi Rex
Ventis Secundis just celebrated its 2nd birthday, and is a group laid back group of pvper's. We are looking for players that enjoy killing ships and wont go emo when they lose a ship. We also realize that eve is a game, and real life commitment come first. We most active in the U.S. tz's. We operate out of the Vale of the Silent and access to good rats, and have plenty of targets.
We have the following requirements:
--Ventrilo with a working microphone --PVP experience --Have to be self-sufficient-- --Willing to put ships at risk --Be financially stable --Have a sensor of humor --Mature Players ( most of us are 25+)

Discussions on how I should make it easier for people to read, trolls, and 2 more failures. What a wonderful night.
Let me toss in one more "What I don't want".
Drone Regions. F that. I'm not going to loot every stinking wreck and haul the stuff back just so I can hopefully earn some cash in the area I'm patrolling. If you're going to offer 0.0, make it somewhere actually useful.

Rex i guess all those people deserve insults right off the bat as well huh?
Fact is bro, you're the one looking for a corp, most corps aren't desperate to recruit. I decided to chane my mind after all the lip you've been giving to people who are acutally just trying to help you out. If you can't put in the effort like we are, then you're frankly not worth it for a 10mil sp player, and since you'd be new in anyone's corp, chances are, you'd be listening to other established players fc so i don't see why you're stepping up on your high horse for.
try cutting back the lip, and you may get somewhere.
good luck with finding a corp. |

U should look into The Hull Miners Union. We are a pvp/pirate corp living in low sec space close to 0.0. We are mostly US tz, and average sp is around 25 mill. We dont do missions and or rat as a corp. We are all self sufficient and all we like to do is pvp. We kill anything and everything we can, including caps. All we expect from our members is limited smach talk and the ability to fly good, we dont want to train u.
If this sounds like fun then u may contact me at our forums or in game. There is a link to the forums below. |
