So, trying to adapt... :)
Lows:
2x BCSII, 1xDCUII, 1xPDSII
Meds:
2x Invul II, 1xPhotonII, 1xPWNAGE, 1x10MN AfterburnerII, 1x 24k point.
Hi:
7xHAMs w/faction ammo
Rigs:
2x Field Extender, 1x Rigor Catalyst
EHP: 63k
DPS: 410 (with my less than perfect skills)
80/71/78/82 resists
This is meant for low sec roaming with a gang and being able to hit/tank cruisers to BS to some degree, any good or utter rubbish?  Trying to keep sig down enough to reduce dmg from BS and still have a pop at cruisers and the like. Not tested it yet... |

I fly a Drake and I'd much rather PvP in a Myrmidon. :<

Go with the regular.
You do need a web on it since HAM is very short range. and for the same reason you need MWD to get into range. Warp scrambler or diruptor is up for debate tho. I now use the warp scramlbr II for the properties of stopping MWD's, tho I give up prescious 11km of warp jamming :S |

He did say that he was in a gang, so presumably he has frigs and cruisers doing the tackling. There is no point in him gimping his great setup in the mids for that purpose. |

And also wrong.
It does less damage.
Purgers are pretty useless in any PvP where you will get primaried.
No AB/MWD = stuck in bubbles.
No Target Painter = even less damage on medium and small ships.

get over it, enjoy what ever passive tank you can fit on, don't care about anyone else, cause all your going to be there for is bait! no one cares what dps you can do, or you great passive tank skills. Just bait and be good at it!!
your never going to be primary, cause any decent group will know a few things.. first.. your bait. Takle you put marginal damage on you till your real force turns up and hten your forgotton about! till the end when you realise that no one is left you still can't move and your dps really is rubbish. If you have no bigger force, they will spend a few hours trying to eat away at your tank... lol at your epic regen tanking abilities, prob start a little smack then prob talk to you like normal person.
hey its eve, all a little too pridicatable.
that said, i did enjoy watching a guy in his drake take on about 10 t1 crusers and was winning, till i thought i'd bring in my pain.... which i then spent a while eating his tank buymping him off the gate, untill he brought in his falcons.... lol... we exchanged plesentries and had a nice chat. o/ |
