I am a mature player, seeking other mature players. I do not want to be stuck in TS / Vent listening to who does what to whom in graphic detail. I do not want to hear about the latest patch to WOW. Daily camaraderie and effort is what I seek. I will not betray any intelligence or confidences of my current alliance, so don't even think about that. My character is 2 years old with about 28 million skillpoints in mining, industry and pvp. I am 48 years old and want similar mentality if not age group. Is this within the realm of possibility in Eve? |

Hey Doraxis,
I believe you could find a home with us. You seem to share the same mentality.
Although most of our corpies are pvp orientated, we do wish to explore all aspects of the game and take eve seriously.
We are a small tight team with some growth plans so we too are looking for the right corpies.
We have been at a larger size before but reduced ourselves due to corpies not sharing the same vision.

It certainly is possible. I'm the acting CEO of a corp with a mature playerbase (I'm 38 myself). We don't do drama, we don't do WoW, we do mine, we do mission, we do have fun and we work as a team. We also like to go kill people when the mood takes us.

Edit - We are a majority EU corp, so GMT/GMT+1 time zone, but we do have some US members too.

If you are looking for old players then look no further than ANR - our oldest member is a mere two months away from his 70th Birthday...The only things descibed in graphic detail on our vent server are hip replacements
We do let a few younger players into the corp..... but in the main that is only so we can continually nag them to tidy thier room / hanger.
ANR is a well orgainsed industrial powerhouse with multi high sec towers and all that jazz. Part of a major 0.0 alliance and active in all parts of the game

I represent a small corp of mature players who are in a mature and active alliance. We are all on the older side (meaning 20 and above) with RL responsibilities including military and EMS folks. In other words, we don't really have the time nor the inclination to deal with the garbage you are referring to.
We are focused mainly on mining/indy/mission running (for now) with low sec POS ops and daily lvl 3/4/5 mission running (combination of corp and alliance), multiple mining ops during the week, and small gang pvp on a lesser basis. We are working together to establish our capital ship building program and cap fleet, starting with an Orca and then going for others such as Rorquals and assorted carriers.

Can I say hello from J0urneys End Corporation.
We are a small, friendly and motivated Empire based Industrial Corporation. Our youngest member is about 25 and our oldest member is about 50 so we know all about old dogs here.
In terms of our deomographics we have about 10-12 active's consisting of US and EU members. We've been around for about 5 years, pretty much since Beta and we've spent part of that time out in the far North in Pure Blind but have now resettled in Empire where we can enjoy a more relaxed style of game, make some easy isk in a laid back and pleasant atmosphere having a laugh amongst good friends.
We have an approachable 'can-do' attitude here and nothing is compulsory. If you enjoy a well rounded game style then you might like what we have to offer.
In terms of industry you might may want to get involved with our building programme and take stakes in our capital ship manufacturing programme. During breaks you're more than welcome to hop along with us doing group level 4 and 5 missions. We do ICE mining and are presently also running low sec exploration operations.
We have two high sec POS's for all of your research, invention and copying requirements and these facilities are made available to all our members.
We also provide blue prints to our members completely free of charge from our BPO library which includes Battleships, Capitals, Frieghters and the new Orca.
As we are principally an industrial corporation a signficant part of our business model evolves around trading on the commodity markets. In this respect we actively encourage all of our people to get involved because its the easiest way in eve to become financially independent and given that its something that we routinely do, we would be more than delighted to help you gain your financial freedom in eve.
I almost forgot but, in addition we also have our own members website and forums.
