I have desided to use a geddon and a dominix for hunting mission runners but im not sure what kind of setups will work good together.
was thinking of a standard gank geddon like this.
7x dual pulse 1x heavy neut 1x ab 1x point 1x cap booster 1x lar 1x eanm 1x adaptive plating 1x damage control 2x 1600mm 2x heat sink.
now im not sure what will be best for the domi, mabye somthing like this
2x large remote repair 2x heavy neut 2x ?? 1x ab 1x point 1x web 1x cap booster 1x eccm 1x lar 3x eanm 1x dc 2x 1600mm
but with this setup i got no pg left.
also only the geddon is suited for taking agro, if the domi is the one having agro the geddon cant help with RR, kinda flawed but if i lose the neut on the geddon then its gonna be a real pain to break the tank.
any idears? |

Fit maximum damage on the geddon (7x MP II, 3x HS II) and 2x heavy neut, 1x rr and maybe some medium/large rails on the domi.
I used to use solo neutron-thron to spank golems before patch, always worked well

If you have two neuts on the domi, you don't need the one on the geddon. And if you're doing RR, why have regular reppers on them? Go with another heat sink on the geddon and plate on the domi. Also, I dislike 3 EANM's, I'd rather go with 2 + say an exp hardener (or the 3 hardener tank). I hope your skills are decent for both of them. |

ofc its an alt.
placed a local repair just to help survive whiel w8ting for the other this to arive, also remember only 1 of the ships can attack unless the mission also agresses the RR'er, so if thT geddon is the one with agro then the domi cant neut the mission runner becaues of concord so the geddon needs the neut to kill the tank

A plate helps you survive better while waiting, because it's hitpoints already repaired. And can't you just always go first with the geddon? Why would the domi ever be in a position where it's at risk before the geddon is? ----------------------

was thinking of baiting with 2 salvage frigates in 2 diffrent missions at the same time to dobbel the chance of a hit and then who ever gets a hit will be the one doing the killing, the domi pilot or the geddon pilot, but ofc its possible to just always do the baiting with the gedon pilot and have the domi pilot just sit ready in the domi. |

Frankly any odd fitting on 2 BSs should beat a mission runner but if you want to beat the uber mission runner of DOOM go with:
Geddon: Megapulses 3xHSII 1xNeut web scram honour tank and ECM drones
Domi: Armor tank Neuts Ogre IIs and 3-4 racial ECMs in the middle with perhaps some ECM damage mods...
For the life of me I can't see how a mission runner could hope to survive this...
Ummm ...in lowsec/0.0 anyway...

Why not just go full gank on both ships?
You'd get some 1100 DPS from the geddon in full gank/buffer setup + some 1200 DPS from the domi in full gank and nicely spread over damage types also. That should take care of 9/10 mission runners I would say.
Or if you want something with more finess then curse + falcon? Takes longer but gets the added bonus of shutting him down completely. |

True very true.
But my setup should be able to bust some small to medium gate camps in low sec as well. And in case the damage does get overwhelming, both ships should be able to jump back from the gate. The Domi was specifically designed to get the falcon out of the battle. |

The Geddon + Domi setup of mine was more intended for busting small to medium gatecamps.

And you were doing so well up until then. If you're ganking missioning BS, the quickest way to kill them would be to disrupt their permarun tanks through neuting so you don't even require that much DPS (although the geddon SHOULD be fitted full gank w/MPLIIs and 3xHSIIs). So put as many neuts as you can fit on your domi's highs. |

The biggest problem with killing mission runners is getting the initial tackle in. A 28.8 km point simply doesn't cut it on a heavy ship if your target isn't a complete idiot and has moved away from the warp-in point.
So if there's two of you, you need gank and tackle. I'd suggest an AB inty/AF/Keres, or a ABing Gallente recon, to get that tackle. Bring repper drones on your gank ship.

The op was looking to kill mission boats; I gave the setup for busting small gate camps in low sec.
PS: The Domi should replace 5 Sentries with 5 Heavies beacuse of range isuues of Sentries.
