Interceptors just make this a tiny bit easier, but ultimately whether it is a BPC, item or ship, always info it before you accept the trade or escrow. BW Originally by: Selim Cool, congrats. TBH the whole thing is so common now that I don't hear about that sort of thing except on corp chat (y'know "damnit, 100K for a shuttle" or "whoa, almost bought garbage off escrow"). Once CCP made it clear that scamming was no going to get you banned, it became something of a cottage industry. I still remember a guy last year claiming to be making some of the first Tempests in the game BYOM. I think he got about 7 people to give him all the mins for tempests before it became obvious that he was a scammer and angry "customers" started flaming him in trade channel and trade forums. Think he just deleted the char and started over though... Is the person in question a real player rather than an alt? So this person is either: 1. Very clueless 2. Hoping the person looking is clueless 3.
