Anyway... here is the point of my post.... I have seen many people saying they want web access for skill training or a skill queue. I agree they would be really nice, but they dont exist and we have no clue when they will exist. I offer a solution for you -- REAL VNC! The connection is really crappy, but its good enough to do skill training, minor chatting, and even some afk mining if you are crazy. Its also free. Its what I use to change skills from work/ vacation/ etc....
Check them out... seriously... http://www.realvnc.com

Why not just download and install the client on whatever computer is available to you? That's what I do.

I thought VNC wouldn't display games correctly due to windows games using directDraw to write to the screen? Isn't that why video doesn't show up also?

RealVNC works fine with EVE and is the smart working persons solution to efficient 24/7 skill training.
Some of us, the more ingenious and less whinebearish ,have been using it for ages too !!

Like I said in my first post.... the video is pretty crappy... but it is good enough to be able to do skill changes without problem. I found that if I put eve at the lowest resolution and the smallest window mode its actually pretty good over the VNC connection.

i think gamemasters should rather write some code into the game which allows us to put skills in queue... like i hate when i am training lv2 or 3 skill that takes like 7 hours... i am at work for 9 hours... 10 hours when you take in the time to get there and back... i sleep 8 hours... and that leaves only 6 hours for eve and that way it is really hard to train that skill. Don't you know that you can change skills during training without loss of skillpoints?
I don't see the problem.

I actually prefer TightVNC over realvnc. Also, run it windowed. I can fly, I've run combat missions, and also done mining quite regularly. The color sucks, contrast is not soo good, and the framerate is abhorrent. But sufficient. ------------------------------ No sig is a good sig. ------------------------------ |

Runs fine actually, reboot it every once in a while, mostly when applying patches etc. ~{When evil and strange get together anything is possible}~ A tool is only useless when you don't know how to use it. - ActiveX The grass is always greener on the other side. - JoCool |
