TU144 TEPPOPNCT'CMEPTHNK Caldari State War Academy	Posted - 2008.11.22 22:02:00 - [5] OH WOW!!! that was awsome... I saw MIR as it was re-entering the earths atmosphere back in March 2001. I was working in Berlin, near the zooalogical gardens, i was in the 14floor sheer glass tower block that overlooks the Bhanhoff(train station) there. MIR was crossing over west-to-east and passed over southern Germany (stuttgart). It looked like Concord at really high altitude (except it was at over 60 miles up and over 500 to the south) and the contrail it left lasted much longer and it had lots of sparkly bits where the wreckage was burning and tumbling, it took less than 90 seconds to cross from horizon to horizon. that was a really awsome sight. Unfortunatly i didnt have a camera with me. Oddly, It wasn't reported on German media in Berlin that evening. CCP made little baby jesus cry by nerfing ghost training
