Hello everyone,
Just a simple question, did someone noticed a circular white line when you active a module (an AB for exemple) moving clock wise around the module ?
Does someone know whats it's propose ?
Thanks in advance Corto |

That white line indicates the "cycle time" of the module. In the case of weapon it'd be showing you the time between each shot, on a shield booster the time until the next tick, etc.

Every cycle it will take a bite out of your capacitator. If not enough cap remains, the module will shut down. -------------------------------------------------- If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles - Sun Tzu |

While this is true for ABs in this specific case, this is not always true. The white line simply indicates the cycle time - there are some modules that do not take capacitor to activate, but still have a cycle time (projectile weapons obviously fall into this category, as do cynosural field generators, and probably some other modules).
Louis is right that any modules that require capacitor to activate, take their chunk for the entire cycle at the beginning of that cycle (and deactivate if you don't have the cap to do this). This can be particularly relevant for cap-hungry modules with relatively long cycle times (e.g. armour repairers, especially the larger ones).
