I think I need help as I am a relative old pilot who just bought the Jump Drive skill while not having Cruiser, Battleships or any combat skills past level 1.

uhh, how praytell do you get to being a "relatively old pilot" without any cruiser, BS or combat skills past level 1?
I mean not having a BS.. sure, but no cruiser or combat?... what do you do? refine?

Nope never refine, build or research. I specialise in hauling goods for people and working in groups on mining ops both in deep space an empire. Exploring and scouting with stealth using Frigates. When Covert op and cloaking gets down to a reasonable price then I will go for them for exploring and scouting for my corp fleets while using my Mark 5 for trading/hauling. Since first becoming a pilot all my skills have gone towards learning skills faster and making my ship performance better IE Navigation skills and shield cap skills e.c.t.

Yes you do need help...I think it involves selling the skill your not going to use.

Seriously ... Titans are like mobile stations (and maybe bigger then those). So it can't use a stargate and thus it will carry its own device for travelling between the stars.

You guys have been hearing too many rumors!
A) They have never said for sure that Jump Drives will only fit on Titans
B) They have never said anything about reseting skills.
C) I already have it trained:)

If they reset skills im throwing my copy of EVE out the window, along with other 90% of ppl playing.
As far as jump drive ops, the way things are currently standing, Titans are ships who are meant to be used as mobile Jump vessels, and will require Jump skill.
Therefore Pottsey you can either throw the skill into the bin or sell it, cuz u need BS lvl4 to operate Titans
(all of this is preliminary info, and with CCP you are never for sure)

As for titans and skill requirements all of what they are talking about in the region of titans and jump drives is pure speculation / or really really old stuff from devs or evedb and the like. We have no idea how the devs will implement them. If ya got 10 mil and the skills then meh buy it and train it i know i did even though i have no clue if i will ever actualy use it.
