Cheers for the fun tonight lads, brief description for anyone people not there:
We went on a lurk down to CVA space, Quam sent carebear alts that could actually get into empire down for a bit of fun, managed to stirr up a couple large scale fights until the CVA blobbeast came our way after a couple hours harassment.
Thanks to KOS and Warp to Desktop and of course CVA for a fun evening. Will have to come down there more often :)

I'll have to revisit the killboards once the autoimport is done but I think we came out with a slight edge despite having to ultimately bail, but after the final engagement it may have evened things out a little.
There were three seperate engagements. First 10 or so K.O.S baited CVA into engaging and cross-jumped them to divide the fleet, CVA had roughly 60 in local not sure how many showed for the fight, Quam (couple systems out on standby) then arrived and I think we lost 1 frig and killed a bunch of stuff.
Second, we decided to try and chase down a fleet but we lost em, so started killing the odd battleship in some station system, couple gangs seemed to hustle up but I guess they were having intel issues because we kept catching straggling battleships.
Finally, Local spikes over 120 and we decide its time to go back to Granny (Eurgrana), we lose a few BS's
Either way it was some good pewage and refreshing to have nice large scale fights without capital involvement despite me personally being rather partial to the "suprise! its 15 carriers!" tactic.
I also must say that I didn't feel lag was an issue, and CVA were very restrained despite my alts awesome smacktalk and us invading a CVA channel at one point ( they done banned us :( )

We certainly have. I distinctly remember we won one on the 15th of July, where we killed 2 battleships for the price of one. I wasn't there of course, but the story of the fight was told and retold in alliance chat every evening for a couple of weeks.
