For the last 2 weeks Plush Compound has been trading for several percent more than the yield of minerals refined from it at 100% refining (0% waste) - and I'm talking about selling the minerals at the market ASK price, not the BUY price. This is the first time I've seen such a sustained overvaluation in a compound/alloy after closely watching the market for months. Lustering alloy is also trading much higher than it used to, so that there is a very *slight* loss when selling. Glossy compound is also being refined at a loss (but thats to be expecting with megacyte continuing to plummet in value). Can anyone explain this? Have these compounds been added to some kind of mission objective? Is there another use for them other than refining? Thanks!

This. Very efficient way to haul trit to 0.0.

I wonder if this is in any way related to the current state of the capital ship production market?

I don't know. But I doubt capital ship producers in 0.0 ever get enough trit. So plush alloy should always trade higher than its mineral value.

Depends where you are.
Traditionally Mexallon is the mineral which is in most demand.

Used to be the gold standard, but I guess with the removal or lowering of hauler spawns its becoming more and more of an issue with trit. |

The thing is, mexallon should be pretty easy to ship since it'd have 6-10 times the value density of trit. And you only need something like 5% of the volume of trit in mexallon for capital ship production.
