I was shopping in Nonni with an alt and the number of PA in the lonetrek area doing missions or market whoring is surprisingly large.
So yeah, you may have 100+ member corporations, but what good does that do you if only 30% are very active, half of those aren't even in venal, and whats left has limited pvp experience.
I'm pretty confident that if we were ever to have a 60 ship m0o/evol fleet go up against a 150 ship PA fleet with no lag or performance issues, we'd come out with three times the kills.
So don't start spewing how our 20 ship fleets aren't impressive.
Whats impressive is that such a fleet can cause havoc with your daily existance in venal, and basically run around hitting up any 'pilots in space'. Like stav said, attrition means more than size, its a key to warfare which it seems you completeley failed to grasp. PA and CA individually can amass 80 ship fleets sometimes.. as I recall, Xetic, SA and CFS had to team up just to take on Curse in that big U-Q battle.
We saw some big blobs, but even if you bring them out once every 20 days, they are still ineffective because in EVE you can choose when to engage. Considering a blob that big is highly immobile (usually sitting at one gate or station for an hour) then you're unlikely to kill much since nobody in their sane mind would go up against that unless they had sufficient numbers, or some sort of tactical ace in the hole.
So you may not be impressed by our hardcore pvper 20-ship mobile ganking armada, but personally I get my jollies when I see results, not six dozen icons plastering my screen

omg guys even if pa/ca is losing ungodly ammounts of ships and ur shuttles of death r leaving trails of carnage and destruction upon the "former" lands of the pa. i hav the upmost respect for pa and how they hav kept this war for the most part forum flame free! seriously guys wtf fight the war not talk it and when u win,....well u win, thertes no need to come onto the forums and make yet another post sayin "omg we r teh haxor el33t uber fighters that has decimated pa" or "venal is now ours get the f*** out!" the truth is pa rnt dead they may lose ships but they arent dead and u know it they still occupy venal deal w/it u havent won yet let ur egos go and fight not post propaganda after propaganda
