Lately, when I've been killing NPC battleships they've been dropping crap frigate loot. Not even named frigate loot, just medium beam lasers and 1 MN microwarpdrives. Sometimes they also drop named shield extenders and shield transfer arrays.
Is there something wrong with the loot tables? If the battleships are going to drop crap loot shouldn't they at least drop battleship crap loot? Like 100MN afterburners or standard crap battleship guns?

They've certainly changed with the latest patch.
Prior to this patch, battleship NPC's always dropped battleship-sized weaponry which seems to be in keeping with how it should work.
Suddenly, after the patch, I find BS NPC's drop cruiser/frig loot virtually 80% of the time.
It's ****** up.

They've certainly changed with the latest patch.
Prior to this patch, battleship NPC's always dropped battleship-sized weaponry which seems to be in keeping with how it should work.
Suddenly, after the patch, I find BS NPC's drop cruiser/frig loot virtually 80% of the time.
It's ****** up.

Yep, dropping lots of 10MN afterburners/MWDs, shield boosters, shield extenders and cap boosters. Almost one of those items per can.

I get lots of named heavy launchers and got a 25% expander off a agent cruiser rat...
And I seem to get a named item per cruiser rat in agent missions now

Ya I have been getting uber drops from agent kill mission rats, on Saturday a lowly cruiser rat dropped a 27% expander for one of my corp mates, I have had an arbalest heavy launcher from a cruiser rat this week.

I think its good that its hard to get BS loot.. That way they keep rare...

How about a single cruiser rat that drops 100 rounds of hybrid med ammo, 100 rounds of med projectile ammo and 1 Med laser crystal

To me it looks like the agent bonus rewards are also broken. Before last patch I got some tech 2 items once in a while. Now I get light missiles or rockets... all the time.
A friend of mine got the same mission, from the lvl3 agent at gelfiven 3 m1, 8 times in a row. Same description.. same rats that needed to be killed. To make it worse it looked like it was a lvl 2 mission, since he told me it was rats under 10k.

We're not complaining about the RARE named BS loot (I think it's good that they're rare too).
We're talking about a complete lack of any standard BS loot dropping from BS.

for a week now after killing at least 40 serpentis BSes I got one item worth anything... Inefficient L armor repairer... other times it is just frigate/cruiser junk.
Your Heavy Neutron Blaster II perfectly strikes Serpentis Chief Sentinel, wrecking for 660.4 damage.
