Ahhhh so its not me then
I crashed out and coultnt get back in, was just about to do the "clear cache" **** as well,

Same here, black logon screen on every account every character and the characters are in different systems. The same thing was happening this morning from 02:00 EVE until 03:00 EVE when I finally gave up trying to login.
EVE during weekends = the black login screen of death.
