I'm Minmatar and i'v done mostly missions for Caldari. I decided to find another agent. Well i found a galente agent that i like but.... my standing towards that agent corporation is -2.3
Now my question is ... how i can get higher standing wit this corporation? All agents are unavailable to me, even lev 1 .
I don't know why i have standing so low ... because i fought for Caldari ? If i fight for Minmatar, that will rise my standings with Gallente ?

1) whats your gallente faction standing at
2) your level of diplomacy
yes if you fight for minmatar then you will slowly gain standings to gallente.

Train your diplomacy skill up.
Basicly if you do missions for one faction you loose loose standings with 2 otehr factions and gain a little derived standing from the 4th
Gallente and Minmatar are sort f friendly with eachother, so are Caldari and Amarr.
So doing missions for the Caldari will lower faction of the Gallente and the Minmatar, though more for the Gallente then the Minmatar.

hm .. so my missions for calldari lowered my gallente standing
i have -2.3 to gallente .. i have diplomacy to lev 3
well .. i'll do missions for Minmatar until my gallente standing is repaired.

another question .... if i go to military for minmatar war .. my standing will go faster up or no ?

Diplo 4 should help push your standings under -2.00
Missions for the minmatar will indeed help but you only gain via storylines so it will take some effort.
as to the war/combat based missions then its odd. you get higher faction gains from a combat based storyline than materials for war but you dont have much choice what storyline will be sent to you. what you can do is look for local storyline agents that are command/security based and then use the agents local to it. you should get sent to that storyline agent each time and as its in a combat division then most of your storylines should be combat based.
if your good to rock and roll with Matari agents then you can visit the data centers and effectivly buy factional gains with tags. you will get a derived hit to gallente every time. then visit ani constellation for some fast L1 COSMOS missions and gain some fast factional gains from there.
if war for minmatar = Milita and FW then yes you will also get gains to gallente when you level up (omg WOW) faction gains for minmatar
