Ok with one day to go on electrical upgrades i find myself in the position of deciding which covert ops frig to go for I start frig lvl 5 tomorrow so my question is the title to this post.
Which Covert ops frig and why ?
Btw no right and wrong answers and I know not all are avalible at the moment I just need help

Helios imo will be the best one.
Covert Ops Stats
purely because of the 3 low, 5 med and 20 power and 250 cpu. get some serious ew on there.
The caldari one is good as ever if you wnat to use it to fight as well if launchers.

I really can't see a reason to pick a race
As long as it stays cloaked and warsp... what else would you need?
At best occasions you go at 15km from target and have your beloved blasterthron gangmates warp onto the target.
Then you could go orbiting for 1-2 scramblers, but thats all to it.
I'm going with my already trained frigs.

My reason for making a choice is because i also want to eventually train interceptors after i have convert ops, so I suppose which is the best to have trained (as it takes me 12days) to Frig lvl 5 im leaning towards Gallente or Caldari atm. Just need a little help seeing what in general people think would be best.

They are all pretty nice, but remember there will be a second one for each race.
The only other one I know about is the Keres and it will be better than the Helios, it has another low slot.
The downside of the Gallente Covert Ops is both of them only have 2 high slots, so with one filled by a cloaking device you'll only have one more for a weapon.

Fast... Minmatar... if that not enough it based on the Vigil Hull class

Dont forget the Helios is the only covert ship with a Drone bay so it might have 1 weapon with a cloaking device but its still got as many guns as the other ships.

Another Gallente flying piece a crap :[ My biggest mistake in this game is choosing Gallente race in the begining. Oh well what can you do if dev's are blind....

Gallante ships are fine Megathron is a very good battleship, Thorax one of the best cruisers, Incursus probably many overlook but can be very hard hitting close combat ship, Taranis imo best interceptor, Iteron Mk V the best Indie what else do you want. In that list I completely ignoring the mining power of Gallante ships but they have a very good mining ship in every class.
I will probably get a Buzzard or a Helios since I have trained for them both. Buzzard has the

Agreed. There's a reason why I trained for flying Gallente ships (before caldari), and it isn't related to mining.

The Helios and Buzzard will be the favs of everyone, due to most CPU, best lock range, most midslots. Then the Cheetah in third due to its speed, then Anathema in last. As I've stated before I'm gonna get a Buzzard and Anathema, because they look nice. Besides, Anathema has most HP, and thus if its detected it can get out fairly easily.

Go for either Caldari or Gallente - both have a decent layout and as someone else said, what more do you want it to do other than cloak and move. Plus Gallente or Caldari 5 give you access to the Taranis (scarily shooty) or the Crow (seriously spammy).
I'd probably go with caldari but then I am biased. Still, the Crow does have a nice shiny red nose
