After becoming obsessed with the game upon launch I found myself quite skilled and addicted having won 99% of my games. I also realized I turned into a crazy man while playing it. I put the game away several years ago and have never touched it since. I'm quite afraid to honestly because I know I'll be rusty at this point. One friend still likes to boast about the one time he beat me and even then he had to fight for every inch.

I quit playing competitive level Starcraft (1/BW) about 7+ years ago.
Don't plan on going back to that soulcrushing routine ever again.

Thats why im restarting this eve-rts... to be played with eve-players only... because i dont really play the game either...its just a nice change once in a while and we all basically suck... so just looking for some good games.

Legit copy or not, we have a way to play.IF you don't have Starcraft Broodwar, goto btjunkie.org and download it. Then connect to bnet to get the latest 1.16 patch. Theres 2 ways we can play... with hamachi or bnet or bnet gateway to connect to a public bnet server.

Star Craft is a rip off of epic proportions. Blizzard are masterfully making people pay out of their noses for the SCII.
While this isn't of relevance to SC I I am just warning people.

I personally think that if the content is that large to force blizzard to split the game into 3 releases... then I will gladly pay. Starcraft is the ultimate badass of rts gaming and not a single game has come close to beating it.. especially balance wise and story wise.
Honestly, each time i play it, I think of Aliens and Predator which are both my favorite movies.
I beleive the 3 games will be 39.99 each.

I have Vista 64bit... i run it fine... do you have 64bit? if you do, install in ur regular Program Files folder.
