I am just wondering how people like to do balance the 2(+) ships necessary in lower sec space.
I have tried so high sec exploration and found it very neat and differnt but an extream cut to level 4 missions so thought i would scan some stuff down in lower sec space but the logistics bothred me currently i take my buzzard around until i find a site then drop the buzzard in a station and go back to where i left my harpy fly the harpy to the site finish it then i dock the harpy and take the buzzard out again.
I am planing on uzing an onyx or a cerberus, cerb provides me with more dps but less tank (plan on fitting code breaker, analyzzer, and salvager so need a few mid slots free onyx has one more slot).
Basicaly what i want to know is how to manage the logistics of 2 ships running around generaly i am not scared of low sec but exploration for me is alot of running around through gates and some systems dont have stations to leave my buzzard at.
anyways does anyone have a tactic to get around the 2 ship anoyance that does not invovle 2 accounts or an industrial (running around with an industrial full of tech 2 ships is not to smart either... plus i can only fly a sigil or bestower)

Well what i do is nothing more than having 2 accounts. BUT when it is about LowSec you are running into troubles either way. First of all it is very difficult to find out what level the plex is - i lost 2 ships with the trial and error mothode.
For some of the sites i found a battleship is good idea. In some others u cannot enter with ships bigger than a frig or destroyer. So carrying all the ships around is not a good idea. Though impossible with an Indy.
I heard from some other explorers that they are just roaming one single region, by using jump clones and and equipment in a station in lowSec. This gets harder in 0sec. But at least scan the plexes, bookmark entry and check what level. Then go back to close station and change into needed ship. Setup: 1 Stealth Bomber, 1 battlecruiser and at least a small BS are a good combination that solves most situations. It is not perfect, but better than flying 30 jumps back and forth.

Thanks was hopeing for a trick or neat idea :( but your imput is apreaciated.
I dont think i will need a battleship, i can run level 4's in a cerberus with good piloting and have actually completed level 4's in a harpy and in a crow (crow is the most fun level 4 ship in the world some tanks take a while.... and one mess up and you are dead, but lots of fun manual piloting.)
So one ship a cerb or an onyx i am hopeing is enough, well 2 because of the buzzard. May just have to do the old run around getting ships technique i just am not that fond of the idea. And it really sucks if cruiser class cant get into some of the low sec complexes i dont want to have to move around a harpy as well.

Eject and use your pod to check the level of the site. A pod will never be able to enter and you will be told what ships you can use. From the sites i encountered a bc seems to be all you will need

Buzzard and a T2 Cruise Raven with codebreaker, analyzer, salvager and cloaking device fitted.
The Raven is docked in the middle system of the low-sec constellation that I explore in. I ignore the sites where the Raven cannot enter.

Use a Cerb and fit a salvager and codebreaker....analyers are a frickin waste because mag sites are a total waste of time.

cerb, drake, nighthawk, ishtar are all yber for exploration.. and its not that hard using only one acout, just need to run around a bit to change ships..
if you have 2 acounts you can probe fore more plexes while doing the ones found with the other char and out allways have a scout around :)
btw most of the lowsec escalation plexes escalates into 0.0 so for that you really want a scout of some kind.. and magsites in lowsec are worthless, in 0.0 they atleast drop t2 rig bpc's

So for me radar are really the only sites i am looking for... and combat this will help with cargo space in my buzzard.

Well doing my first low sec complex was a really hard to find radar site... so far have over 10M in drops from one can i hace check and am killing off a triple bs spawn...
have to say this may make alot less isk then level 4's but it is alot more fun... thats for sure very neet.

Im doing exactly the same for ages.
You need a single ship and a cloak.
I will recommend Arbitrator or Vexor for low skill player or force recon like Pilgrim if you have higher skills. Dronies kill the things you just follow them and loot the cans. It is no problem even if you want to do plexes.

that's exactly why I started exploring. It's fun looking for them, and you can do all other sort of stuff while scanning (cook, eat, pee) and it's always gives me a good feeling when I find a 10M decryptor. My average per radarsite was 30-40M.
I used 1 station in the constellation I was exploring in, scanned for sites (if there were more in 1 system I scanned them all down. Docked in a station to get a phoon or rupture, depending on the site and then cleared it...

Found an unknown site in 0.3 i counted 10x faction cruisers and my onyx was barely beating ther tank left before i even killed one am going to need to go back with something that has a little more umfff.
