For example... why can't I run eve on one monitor and then simply drag Eve windows to the other monitor? Have monitor 1 with my fill HUD, ship and overview... and then drag to monitor 2 other windows, like the chat windows, scanner, cargo, market, etc.
I would love this. --------------------------------- Pithecanthropus erectus, a name derived from Greek and Latin roots meaning upright ape-man. |

I have seen a screenshot of someone doing this exact thing, though I don't know how he did it.
I remember though reading some thread last week about a program that has something to do with eve and mulitple monitors.

I know someone who did this, they had a special program either bought or pirated. You can do this with any number of monitors, i believe he had four 0.o

just to be sure, what you are suggesting is something like what most architects do in AutoCad right ? have the entire drawing on one monitor, and all the "irrelevant" toolbars and stuff on another monitor ?
If that is what you mean, that hell yeah i want that too and without having to use random software please
Reading these forums is kinda like watching a car crash is super slo-mo. Fascinating at first, but rapidly becoming appalling... yet you can't quite tear yourself away! |

I do like having my second monitor for Teamspeak, IM, Web Browsers, etc, but this would be very cool to have also...

I pobobly wouldn't use this myself since i use a second client on the second screen, but i think it would be an awesome feature. Supreme Commander had a very good way of doing this (its an RTS but still), minmap on one screen and normal game on other, minimap could be zoomed in to normal mode as well just by scrolling.

This works well for me also now that you can move all the ui around at will. However I would still like to see some way of moving the point of view from the center of the screen to one side or another so your focus isn't always cut in half when using dual displays. Maybe have the in-space view on both screens with the pov to the right or left or only have it on one screen with the other screen having all the other ui on it with the map too. Yeah thats the ticket. Open map with chat, market etc one screen and space view on the other with the combat ui.
