It's easier to defend behind cynojammers, looks like a golden opportunity, so why don't they do it? Perhaps because they can't do it. Goonswarm knows that they can't split their forces, they will lose somewhere. So they know in advance that the battle is lost and preemptively claim that they don't care about the loss. Just like they lost in Esoteria while successfully defending Feythabolis, how many high end moons was that btw? Solar and xDeathx are a relatively formidable force, I wish them to have good fights with BoB. However the blood of Mostly Harmless is still fresh on their hands, we'll see if they can earn themselves forgiveness from NC.

Apparently the directorship decided it was in our best interests to keep the bridge network we had up that ran clear to empire up for as long as possible. Or maybe it was just that they already had fuel and stront in them and we left it there just to slow bob down. Or maybe its because our logistics guys were lazy and didn't want to bother with taking them down. Who knows!

Its freaking empty. SP was abandoned while BoB was still mired in the north, well before we were attacked. It has been basically empty for a while. It may be a long-running joke, but in this case GS truely "didnt want that region anyway".
