I have the same, tis completely laggy and i get a red error box after a while. Petition was made this mornin but didnt get a answer so far. -

must just be a certain part of the transfer system

I am receiving the same problem:
"Error: Exception, invalid data"
This happened last time I attempted a character sale. Billing took a month to reply and gave a QR back to me that was completely irrelevant to the problem.
I have now tried it again using a different credit card. (a friend's credit card, confirmed to be completely legitimate by petition) and am now receiving the same issue.
Last time, the potential buyer became bored and cancelled the transaction. I fear that this is going to happen again.
Any help on this CCP?

Yeah happened to me. It's a shame, because it's a very important system. It's crap for the buyer cos all they have is the word of the seller, a complete stranger and CCP's "rules", so if the character transfer isn't working it all goes to sh*t. yobo |

Agreed, I would like CCP to escalate this to a Senior GM if possible a.s.a.p.
This is unfortunately a system which cannot deal with the current billing return on petitions. Buyers are long gone, even with the current 3 Day backlog which in retrospect is miles better than it was before.
Can we get a response from CCP on this matter? My current buyer is going to be afk for three weeks after this further lampooning me with a character whose sub will be dangerously close to running out. I do not wish to pay 35+ dollars to resub it or utilise my ISK and the RL stuff is hard enough to make at the moment, let alone in game...
Nonetheless, it needs to get sorted please.

Yeah, had the same issue. Red boxin' all over the place 
I just kept trying every few minutes and finally got it done.

Hours of attempting the transfer over night and still no luck.
Same red error box, same message, no help from the GM's through petitions. Unfortunately it's just the normal 'wait for a billing petition' response. Now I understand if they cannot deal with this themselves but please just walk across the office and alert one of them.
After all, it is a very serious system that is malfunctioning here.

Did have ERROR's a few times, but if I unplugged my router and hooked up my pc straight to the modem. Worked fine after that, its important to have no IP masking software aswell.
