My son is leaving the game. He has two accounts. Can I change the payment to my credit card and I use the accounts or is that not aloud.

Don't see why you couldn't. I remember hearing something about sharing accounts being allowed between family members or something. ===== * Your signature file is broken. Please use an image that will display - Fallout

Edited by: NightF0x on 01/12/2008 00:15:38 Technically account transfer isn't allowed. Theoretically you could do it and no one would know, except you posted it on the forums I don't think CCP would frown on it since it is within the family. ------------------------------------

Safest bet is always to petition it and get an offcial answer from the GM's.

Edited by: CrayC on 01/12/2008 00:30:06 From EULA 2.A
Quote: Only an individual, natural person who is an adult or, in the discretion of such an adult, his or her minor child, may establish an Account. You are responsible and liable for all activities conducted through your Account, regardless of who conducts those activities.
You may not share your Account with anyone, or allow anyone other than you personally (or your minor child, if you have registered an Account on behalf of your minor child) to access or use your Account. Joint or shared ownership or use of an Account by more than one user is prohibited.
and 2.C.i
Quote: i. Responsibility for Account Minor children may not establish an Account without the consent of a parent or guardian. If the user of EVE is a minor, a parent or guardian must complete the registration process to establish an Account, in which case the parent or guardian takes full responsibility for all obligations under the EULA and for all activities of the child using the Account. If you are a parent or guardian, you may permit one child to use the Account instead of you (in which case you may not use that Account).
Underlined the important parts for you.
So all in all, you are not allowed to use those accounts after your son is leaving. You CAN do it, but it only takes one person to report you to get the accounts banned, should they find out it's no longer your son using his characters...

This.
You could also start a new account and have your son transfer his character to your new account. Its a formality, but at least you will be fully within CCP rules.

From what I understand, by the second part the account is actually yours if your son is a minor, so yes you can use it. ===== * Your signature file is broken. Please use an image that will display - Fallout

Actually, that's what the first part says. That is why I quoted BOTH parts. Part two says that you can NOT use the account if it's made for a minor. Again, the underlined parts are the important ones...
Edit: As Starwalker said, the only legal choice from here on, is to make NEW accounts and transfer the characters to those accounts...

Depends if it's spoken quietly enough or not.
